Mos Def Announces 2 New Projects In December
Long Awaited Music From Motown Artist Kevin Ross Out This Week

Motown R&B artist Kevin Ross’ long-awaited EP, Long Song Away, hits stores next Friday, December 9. The four- song EP combines classic soul with contemporary R&B. The EP also features Kevin’s debut single “Be Great“ with rapper Chaz French, and a remix of the song featuring R&B phenom BJ The Chicago Kid.
One of today’s rising R&B singers, Kevin has toured with Maxwell and Ne-Yo, and recently performed on TV One’s spoken word and music series, “Lexus Verses and Flow.” His upcoming album, “The Awakening,” is slated for a March 2017 release.

Kehlani keeps dishing out musical goodies as she readies the launch of her much-antic- ipated debut studio album, SWEETSEXYSAVAGE.
The latest announcement from the Bay Area R&B artist is her first headlining world tour, set to start in 2017. The upcoming ‘SWEETSEXYSAV- AGE’ trek will make stops in a number of major U.S. cities in- cluding Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto and more.
Mariah And New Boyfriend All Smiles At Reality Show Premiere
Mos Def made a huge an- nouncement at Art Basel in Miami on Saturday (Dec. 3). Making his first public ap- pearance in the states since the passport drama in South Africa, the Brooklyn-born MC announced that he’s dropping two new albums which in- cludes a project with Man- nie Fresh.
The new albums titled,
Negus In Natural Person and As Promised (the project with Fresh) will be debuted later in the month.
“I will be premiering my new album[s] at the Apollo Theater Dec. 20 and Dec. 21,” revealed the artists formerly known as Mos Def before playing two “special” new songs.

The new projects along with the forthcoming Dec. 99th album brings Bey’s running total to three albums before he retires from rap all together.

Christmas has arrived early for Luke Cage. In a 18-sec- ond video teaser posted to Twitter Sunday, (Dec. 4) fans learned their favorite Harlem residing, bulletproof Black man will continue to kick ass for a Second Season.
It’s great news for fans of both Mike Colter who plays Cage and the show, but no sur- prise as viewers have been sali- vating for the show long before it streamed on Netflix. Show creator Cheo Hodari Coker also took to Twitter to cele- brate the good news. As Vari- ety reports, this makes Luke

Jeremih will have to find a new stage for his (or his ru- mored body double’s) rants now that he’s been cut from the Summer’s Over Tour. The “Oui” singer was scheduled for four more shows opening for Toronto’s PAR- TYNEXTDOOR after the two performed across North Amer- ica throughout November.
Concert production company Live Nation released this state- ment about Jeremih getting bounced from the lineup.
“Live Nation’s top priority is helping artists and performers create great shows for their fans. With this in mind, we’ve decided it’s best for the Sum- mer’s Over Tour to continue without Jeremih, effective im- mediately. After multiple inci- dents we are left with no other choice.”

TMZ says the changes in medication came after his wife, Kim Kardashian- West, was robbed in Paris in October.
