AIKENS
MR. EDD LEE PELT
Funeral services for Mr. Edd Lee Pelt of Oldsmar, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019, will be held on Thursday, Au- gust 29, 2019, at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue. His cousin, Min. Ster- ling Woodard, is the eulogist. The interment will follow.
Edd Lee was born April 5, 1958 in Stuart, Florida. He later moved with his parents to Tampa, Florida in the early ’60s. He attended school in Hillsborough County. He had no children.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Warren Pelt; mom, Betty Pelt; his sister, Christine Pelt, and brother-in- law, Gregory Davis.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: ten sib- lings: Halsey Pelt (Assiran), Charlotte J. Pelt, Ada Mae Pelt-Washington (Nathaniel), Equilla Pelt (James), Clarksville, TN, Betty S. Turner (Coley), Betty Warren Smith (Curtis), Paul Pelt, Mil- lie Pelt-Hills (Latrius), War- ren Pelt, Jr., and Devin Pelt (Charmaine) Columbia SC; nieces and nephews, Minyon Williams, Felnicia Williams, Shenmue Smith, Curtis Smith, II (Joelys), Crystal Smith, Kevin R. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Thurs- day, August 29th from 10 to 10:30 a. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside at 11 a. m.

MR. TOMMY LEE UPSHAW, SR.
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Tommy Lee Upshaw, Sr., of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019, will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 1 p. m. at New Progress M. B. Church, 3307 E. Shadowlawn Ave., Rev. Maurice Taylor, pastor, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Tommy Lee Upshaw, Sr., hails from Pittsview, Ala- bama. He was born on July 7, 1942. He was the son of the late Edward Banks and Mattie Mae Himes. After attending the school system in Alabama, he relocated to Tampa, at an early age and had since been actively involved in the community. He had a professional talent (gift) with woodwork and formed his own business, building deluxe dog houses, picnic tables, swing sets, etc. He also provided home improvement services that in- cluded carpenter work projects.
He lived each day with pur- pose, with actions, positivity, love, encouragement and touched everyone’s life. He was a hard worker, devoted father, loving friend, and a man of great faith. His legacy will live on and our lives are so very rich and blessed because of the joy that he brought to our lives. He was very devoted to the family’s pro- duction ministry, “Upshaw Pro- ductions” for more than 20 years. He was very talented and performed in several singing groups and bands.
At an early age, Tommy was united in holy matrimony to Mary Katherine Ross Upshaw. She preceded his death on De- cember 20, 2018. To this union,
two children, Tommy Jr. and Jacquelyn, were born where they reside in Tampa, Florida.
Tommy worked for Wonder Bread and Florida Steel as a Truck Driver for several years and retired as a Truck Driver from Winn Dixie, where he worked for over 20 years. He loved the Lord Jesus and was a member of New Progress Mis- sionary Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the Male Choir. He was also a mem- ber of the Blue Flames Social Club from Alabama, where he fostered an environment and culture of service to the com- munity. Tommy made our lives special with his humble grace, his sense of humor and his infi- nite wisdom. He was an inspi- ration to his family, loved ones, and friends. He always had a word of encouragement, he was a great teacher, and a great role model.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward Banks and Mattie Mae Himes; grand- mother, Beulah Howard; step- father, Zema; sisters, Beulah Groce and Essie Mae Jackson; brother, Man; and ex-wife, Mary Upshaw.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his two loving children, son, Tommy Upshaw, Jr.; daughter, Jacque- lyn Upshaw Hines (Michael I); grandfather of four grandchil- dren, Shawana Upshaw, Michael, II, Mylo, and Mario Hines; the great-grandfather of Michael, III, all of Tampa, Florida; a devoted companion, Ida Brownlee of 25 years; a de- voted niece and caregiver, like a daughter, Patricia Parks; a de- voted nephew, Kamau Malik; like sons, Avery Brownlee and Anthony Brownlee; loving sis- ter, Juanita Burston (Richard); a host of cousins, other rela- tives, neighbors, many friends, and loved ones. Commemorat- ing the legacy of our dear Fa- ther in Christ, Mr. Tommy Lee Upshaw, Sr.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, August 30th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. JOE KIRK
Funeral services for Mr. Joe Kirk, who passed away on Au- gust 22, 2019, will be held on Sat- urday, August 31, 2019, at 12 p. m. at Northside Missionary Bap- tist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Ri- cardo Robinson, Pastor, officiat- ing, Apostle Phillip Jenkins, eulogist. Interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Joe Kirk was born in Val- dosta, Georgia. He attended school in Valdosta, Georgia. As a young adult he moved to Tampa. He was united in holy matri- mony to Etwenda (House) Kirk. Out of that union, they had 4 daughters.
He worked as a Roofer and Construction Worker for many years. He loved to laugh and joke and spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his ex-wife, Etwenda House Kirk; his parents, Lester and Francis Kirk; his daughter, Sed- ina Kirk; 4 sisters, Glory Harris, Marie House, Roberta Kelly, Dorothy Denegall; 2 brothers, Lester, Jr. and Edward Kirk.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving children, Underthia House, Jacqueline and Syaundia Kirk; 4 sisters, Laura Register of Valdosta, GA, Lillie Register, Mother Ellen Jenkins, and Jewell Jenkins all of Tampa; 4 sisters-in-law, Mother Gladys Jenkins, Pastor Ophelia House, Mother Josephine House, Mother Gloria House, all of Tampa; 3 brothers- in- law, Deacon Samuel (Pastor Diann) House, Tyrone House, and Napoleon House, all of Tampa; 14 grandchildren; 7 great- great- grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing relatives and friends.
Viewing for Mr. Joe Kirk will be held this Friday evening, Au- gust 30, 2019, from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church.
Friends and family are asked to assemble at the church ap- proximately 11:45 a. m. on Sat- urday for the service.

MS. CHERYL BELLAMY-LARRY
Ms. Cheryl Bellamy-Larry of Tampa, transitioned to Heaven on August 20, 2019. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 11 a. m. at New Testament Church, 11530 Walker Road Thonotosassa 33592. Rev. Theodis Goggins is the officiator, and Rev. Al Gal- lon will conduct the eulogy.
Ms. Bellamy-Larry was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She was born on July 27, 1962. She attended Tampa Bay Technical High School. Cheryl had a love for fashion, a true fashionista. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Edna Carter-Bellamy; brothers, Cyril Bellamy and Keith Ward; aunt, Carrie Mosley; uncles, Joseph Carter and George Bellamy.
She leaves to cherish her memories: parents, Ethel Bel- lamy-Ward and Irving Ward; husband, Dwayne Larry; daughter, ShaRhonda Axon; sons, Arthur Young and Justin Carswell; sisters, Cecelia (CeCe) Mitchell and Tiffany and Craig Hill; brother, Irvin and Denise Ward; grandchildren: Artyana Young, Artasia Young, Artessa Young, Justice Car- swell, Jayden Carswell, Jaione Carswell, Jusiah Carswell, Justin Carswell, Jr.; niece, Travia and David Thompson; nephew, Edwin (Jason) Ander- son; great-nieces and nephews, Atiya Anderson, Jacha Ander- son, David Thompson, Xavian Mateo Anderson; uncle, Leon Bellamy and Alexis Laselle; godmother, Rosalyn Mitchell; and a host of other grieving rel- atives and friends.
