MR. DANIEL MEXILE
Funeral Services for Mr. Daniel Mexile will be held Sun- day, September 1, 2019, at 11 a.m., at Salem SDA Church, 1106 E. 109th Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33612. Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery, Tampa, FL.
Daniel was born in Gonaives on November 1, 1960, to Palmira Dieujuste and Jean Mexile; the second oldest of six kids (three sisters and one brother).
Growing up in Haiti, he at- tended primary school at Saint Valery and finished his school in Adventist School of Gonaives.
By 19 years of age, Daniel came to Tampa, where he would reside for the rest of his days. Here in Florida, he had three children before marrying his life long friend, Magalie Mexile, back in Gonaives.
It was with Magalie that he had an additional two children in Haiti before the four of them reunited in America as a family.
For years, they lived in Tampa, where they raised their children together as hard work- ing, honest people. After seven years, they came to have their final child together. From there, the family loved and grew through all the struggles life threw their way, including the devastating news of Daniel’s de- teriorating health in 2017.
It was two years later, on Au- gust 18, 2019, that Daniel’s struggles with health finally ended as he passed away. De- spite the devastating event, his family and friends continue to have him in their prayers and in their hearts.
There will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING.
Corinthians 4:18 “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
So remember not to mourn what is not here: the body. Focus on what you could never see, but could always feel: his spirit and his love. Magdalie Mexile (daughter).
