RAY WILLIAMS
MR. ANDREW R. BENNETT
Mr. Andrew R. Bennett of Tampa passed away Monday, Au- gust 19, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Au- gust31at3p.m.atNewMount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, with Reverend Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor, officiating.
Mr. Andrew Bennett was a na- tive of Florida and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. He attended Tampa Catholic High School and The University of Tennessee. Mr. Bennett was a member of Har- ram Temple #23 and Masonic Mt. Pleasant #13. He was the Founder and CEO of Black Rose Comm.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: children, Andrus and Andrea Bennett; siblings, Gerald Honey- well, Maurice King, Christle King, Livani King Harris, Shirley Handy, Algenia Honeywell, and Ralph Honeywell; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins, god-children, other rela- tives and friends.

Ms. Irene Dennard Harris of Tampa passed away Sunday, Au- gust 18, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Au- gust31at11a.m.atNewMount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Rev- erend Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Irene Dennard Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, born to Willie and Mamie Dennard, Sr. She was ed- ucated by the public schools of Hillsborough County, and was a graduate of Don Thompson Voca- tional High School, Class of 1953, where she was a member of the Cheerleader team. Ms. Harris re- tired from the School District of Hillsborough County and was a former member of Peace Baptist Church, where she served as the musician for many choirs. She moved her membership to New Mount Zion M. B. Church, where she was a faithful and active member for over 30 plus years. Ms. Harris served on the Purple Lilly Usher Board until her ill- ness. Some of her favorite things to do were: watching Steve Har- vey Family Feud, visiting Flea Markets and Thrift Stores, Cook- ing, Baking, Playing the Piano and singing with her “Bestie” (Luvenia Henry), who preceded
REVEREND DR. LINDA C. REESE
Reverend Dr. Linda C. Reese of Tampa passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Satur- day, August 31st at 1 p. m. at St. John Cathedral, 3401 E. 25th Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33605, Rev- erend Dwight Newkirk, Pastor, with Apostle James H. Howell, Pastor of Cathedral of Faith, of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Reverend Dr. Linda C. Reese was a native of Jacksonville, FL and a resident of Tampa for 64 years. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and furthered her education with Blessed Hope Bible College, where she earned her Doctorate. Dr. Reese was the Pastor of Pil- grims Rest Missionary Baptist Church, after her husband, Rev- erend Robert E. Reese passed on to be with the Lord. She served as Pastor from 2002 to 2018, until her health no longer per- mitted her to do so; and at that time she was honored as Pastor Emeritus. She was also an En- trepreneur/Philanthropist, who was the owner and operator of Reese Group Home of Tampa Bay, Inc., where she touched the hearts and lives of many.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie Butts and Vera Staley Butts; and husband, Reverend Robert E. Reese, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 3 sons, Michael Tyrone (Shuran), Macheal Cortez (LaSaundra) and Robert E. Reese, II (Nicole); 6 grandchil- dren, Alexander Reese, Arianna Reese, King Reese, Queen Reese,
