Nicki Minaj: Cardi B Fashion Week Fight Was ‘Humiliating’
‘Power’ Creator Confirms Angela’s Return For Season Six
ANGELA
If there’s one thing Power fans can expect, it’s the unex- pected.
In season five, viewers said goodbye to Kanan Stark. After being stopped by the cops, a plan devised by Tasha and Tariq, Special K went out like the gangster he is, but not be- fore killing four members of the NYPD.
Fans should know by now show creator Courtney A. Kemp’s top priority is to tell a story, so if it means killing off an integral character who also doubles as the show’s executive producer, she’ll do it.
Throughout the season Tasha, Angela, Ghost and Tommy worked together in order to stay out of jail and after their plan goes off without a hitch, Tommy, who’s never been a fan of AUSA Valdes, shoots Angela, eliminating what he believes was their problem, to begin with.
#TeamTasha may be thrilled that Angie took a bul- let, but per the H.W.I.C, Ms. Kemp (head writer in charge) J.Lo, as Tommy refers to An- gela, isn’t going anywhere.
Foxy Brown
Allegedly Bails On
Performance After
Pocketing $10K
Promoters are reportedly accusing Foxy Brown of skipping out on a performance and keeping the money.
Foxy was
scheduled to
perform two songs at the LaQuan Smith party dur- ing New York Fashion Week on Sunday, but didn’t show up until 2:30 a.m. local time.
Foxy was reportedly being paid a total of $10,000 and re- ceived $5,000 in advance. She was expected to collect the re- maining balance at the event.
Once she finally arrived, Foxy allegedly grabbed the $5,000 check and left.
The organizers of the event have issued an ultimatum — ei- ther Foxy pays back the money or they’ll sue.
Katt Williams
NICKI MINAJ AND CARDI B.
Katt Williams has turned his first Emmy nomi- nation into his very first win. The entertainer took home the Emmy Award for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Se- ries for his appearance in the FX show Atlanta, Dead- line reports.
The Ohio native was nom- inated against actors like Bryan Cranston, Lin- Manuel Miranda, Ster- ling K. Brown, Bill Harder, and fellow Atlanta co-star/co-creator Donald Glover.
Williams played Earn’s (Glover) loony uncle re- ferred to as the “Alligator Man” because he owns a pet alligator for some unexplain- able reason. In preparation for the cameo, Williams de- cided to intern at an alligator farm.
According to the Pimp Chronicles funnyman, “The “The first two times I audi- tioned, I wasn’t good enough and other people were bet- ter,” Williams told Com- plex. “I just kept at it, and then I interned at an alligator farm for three-and-a-half weeks, just so I could get

comfortable enough that we didn’t use a stuntman. I really adopted the alligator into my home. And became so com- fortable with it that it was like working with another co- star.”
Fortunately, the Emmys made a powerful stride to- ward diversity as African American actors won all four coveted guest actors award categories.
Like Williams, Tiffany Haddish also turned her first nomination into a win for hosting Saturday Night Live, while This is Us’ Ron Cephas Jones and The Handmaid’s Tale’s Samira Wiley also received awards.
On last Monday’s episode of Beats1’s Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj discussed her side of the story in re- gard to the now infamous al- tercation between her and Cardi B at New York Fash- ion Week. The incident, which occurred on Friday (Sep. 7), was something Minaj called “mortifying” and “humiliating.”
“The other night, I was part of something so morti- fying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon... peo- ple who have their life to- gether,” she said on her show. “The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion. I was morti-
fied.”
During and after the inci-
dent, Cardi B alleged that the “Barbie Dreams” rap- per spoke ill of her infant daughter, Kulture. The Queens MC said on her show that she would never speak poorly about someone else’s child.
“It’s so sad for someone to pin that on me because I’m the bad guy and they’re gonna believe them,” she continued. “I would never talk about someone’s child or parenting... I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never... speak ill on any- one’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t.”
Kanye West Wants To

Guest Role In ‘Atlanta’
FOXY BROWN
Last Monday, Kanye West announced on Twitter that he will teach two courses at a pair of Chicago institu- tions: the Art Institute of Chicago, and the American Academy of Art.
This is the same American Academy of Art that West attended before dropping out of college to pursue music full-time.
According to The Fader, it is unclear whether or not Ye has held any meeting with these institutions. In a state- ment released by the folks at the American Academy of Art, West has no concrete plans to speak or teach at the institution.
Though his interest in ed- ucation may come as a sur- prise, the “All Mine” rapper has teaching in his blood. Donda West, his deceased mother, was a college profes-
