      Former Bad Boy Artist Craig Mack, 46, Dies
  Just days after hip-hop marked the death anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G. on March 9, the rap world mourns the loss of an- other one, as former Bad Boy rapper Craig Mack passed away on Monday night (Mar. 12).

    Juelz Santana Being Held Pending Hearing For Gun At Airport
 Rapper Juelz Santana will remain in federal custody pending a preliminary hearing on charges he attempted to carry a handgun aboard a plane leaving from Newark Liberty International Airport, a magistrate judge ruled Mon- day.
Santana, whose legal name is Laron James, ap- peared in court Monday after- noon, just hours after he was taken into custody by Port Au- thority police detectives.
Juelz Santana fled the air- port after TSA agents found a gun in his luggage. He turned himself in and was arrested.
Santana had been waiting to board a flight from Newark to San Francisco on Friday when security personnel dis-
covered a .38-caliber derringer pistol in his carry-on bag.
When the bag was pulled aside for additional screening, the investigator said, he fled the airport without his belong- ings or identification.
Santana had a 2013 state conviction for drug distribu- tion.
In addition to attempting to bring a firearm on board an aircraft, Latzer said, James is charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
