Lil Wayne Says Birdman Owes Money To Drake And Nicki Minaj Too
Lex Scott-Davis will portray Toni Braxton
Ex-NFL QB And Housewives Hubby Kordell Stewart Denies Being In Gay Relationship
Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj onstage in 2012.
Back in January, Lil Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records and CEO Birdman for non-payment for his work on “Tha Carter V.”
Initially he was seeking $10 million and Universal Music, which handles distribution for Cash Money, urged Birdman to settle with Wayne, who threatened to leave Cash Money with his entire Young Money Entertainment roster, which includes Drake and Nicki Minaj.
Wayne claims that Bird- man is violating their contract
by withholding the release of “Tha Carter V” but Birdman has said that he’ll release the album “in due time.”
In the latest development, Wayne claims the label also owes money to Drake, Nicki and Tyga. TMZ reports that in a recently filed court docu- ment, Weezy accuses Bird- man of not paying Drake and Tyga based on letters he re- ceived from their camps. Addi- tionally, he says he acquired a similar letter from Nicki’s representative alleging that her producers were stiffed out of money as well.
Andrew Caldwell and Kordell Stewart
R&B icon Toni Braxton will be portrayed by unknown actress Lex Scott-Davis in a Lifetime movie based on her bestselling memoir.
Newcomer Scott-Davis has flown to Vancouver with the rest of the cast to begin working on the movie.
Scott-Davis is no stranger to the world of R&B. The Balti- more-raised actress is the niece of singer and producer Rico Love, who has worked with stars including Usher, Nelly, Kelly Rowland, Chris Brown, Fergie and Beyoncé.
Singer Toni, 47, will be a pro- ducer in the film adaptation of her book Un-Break My Heart.
The film will follow Brax- ton's health battles, her finan- cial woes and her struggle to bring up her sons, one of whom has autism.
The authorized biography, based on her 2014 memoir of the same name, will follow the Grammy-winner's ups and downs through lupus, divorce, and bankruptcy.
Lifetime said the film will be 'the never-before-told story of the measures Braxton took to make herself and her family whole again, serving as an in- spiration to people around the world.'
Ex-NFL star and ex-hubby of Housewives of ATL’s Porsha, Kordell Stewart responded to the “I’m not gay no more” dude, Andrew Caldwell, who claims, in an interview, that he dated Stewart.
It was reported last week that Caldwell went on a radio show and proclaimed the two were in a secret relationship ... and Stewart bought him everything from purses to ex- pensive cars.
Stewart reached out to TMZ Sports to let the world know that he doesn’t go that way: “I’m a heterosexual man,” he states.
Kordell goes on to say that Caldwell is simply delusional — “I don’t know the guy. I’ve never heard of him.”
Stewart says he believes Caldwell has defamed him — but when asked if he plans to sue, interestingly he says he’s not sure yet.
Andrew Caldwell, best known for claiming he was “de- livered” from homosexuality, told a digital radio show that he had sex with the former NFL quarterback back when he was still married to Porsha Williams.
“I’ve dated plenty of football players. I’ve dated football players in Atlanta. I dated Ko- rdell Stewart...Porsha’s husband,” Caldwell told The Shake-Up. He said they slept together only once, but Ko- rdell took care of him finan- cially, afterward.
Tamar Brings Judge To Tears On DWTS
Tamar and DWTS partner Val and at the end of her dance kiss- ing her hubby, Vince who played piano during her dance.
There were a lot of tissue- grabbing moments on Mon- day’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars,” which fea- tured the theme “Most Memo- rable Year.”
Tamar Braxton’s Rumba was among the emotional high points of the night, because her most memorable year was 2012 – the year she almost lost her husband Vincent Her- bert.
Through tears, Tamar re- called in the video package how Vince suffered multiple blood clots in his lungs and was induced into a coma. After deciding at the hospital they
would try to have their first baby, Logan was conceived just three months later.
Tamar and Val Chmer- kovskiy danced the Rumba to her new song “King,” a ballad written about her husband and her son. Surprisingly, the rou- tine opened with Vince on the piano, and it ended with Tamar turning away from Val and strutting into Vince’s arms, where she broke down in tears.
Also in tears – judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who was barely able to get out her critique be- cause she was so moved. Tamar received 9s from all three judges.
