Dame Dash And Curren$y Settle Lawsuit
Dame Dash and Curren$y have ended their legal war. Ac- cording to TheJasmine Brand, the two have settled their $3 million lawsuit out of court for an undisclosed amount.
Curren$y slapped Dash with a lawsuit after the mogul released two of his projects, Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II, after their business deal did- n’t work out and he signed with Warner Bros. The New Orleans rapper claimed that Dash did- n’t have the rights to the music nor did he have his permission to release his music. With Dash releasing the music, Curren$y claimed that his deal with Warner Bros. was negatively impacted and wanted $1.5 million in dam-

On Oct. 2nd, court docu- ments were filed stating that the two had settled the matter out of court and wanted the lawsuit dismissed.

Sherri Shepherd’s Lawyers Try Last Ditch Effort To Keep Her From Paying Child Support
She was raised by a single mother who supported her as she pursued her dreams.
And Alicia Keys paid tribute to Terria Joseph as the para- legal joined her famous daugh- ter at the Harlem school of the arts gala in New York on Mon- day.
The 34-year-old made it clear just who is responsible for her fame, thanks to the dancing and singing classes she was sent to throughout her youth.
'Thank you for all the Sun- day's you played Ella Fitzger- ald and Dinah Washington on vinyl. Thank you for all the nights you worked overtime to make the ends and begin- nings meet.
The Empire State Of Mind singer was awarded with a gong for being a 'visionary' on the evening, but declared that it was a joint award with Terria, who raised her alone after separating from her husband when Alicia was just two.
In a last-ditch attempt to avoid paying child support to her son born via surrogate, The View star Sherri Shep- herd’s attorney has been back in a Pennsylvania courtroom trying to get the child support order overturned.
The attorney also wants Shepherd's name removed from the birth certificate of the baby she and her ex-husband, Lamar Sally agreed to have while they were married.
The judges are currently making their decision - but as an indication of how the ruling may go, one of them told Shep- herd's attorney: 'if you con- tinue this course of action you may end up going to the Supreme Court'.
Shepherd, 48, and Sally, 45, were married in August 2011 and in September 2012
Shepherd announced they were searching for a surrogate to have a baby.
When the surrogate was six- months pregnant, in May 2014, Shepherd filed for di- vorce. She declared she wanted nothing to do with the child and would not be the baby’s mother.
Sally took Shepherd to court after the baby was born on August 5, 2014. And on April 21 this year, the court agreed with Sally and ruled Shepherd was the legal mother of the baby boy.
Her name was put on the birth certificate, she was or- dered to pay $4,100 a month child support and is responsi- ble for carrying the baby on her health insurance until he is 18 years old.

Omarion and ladies that were told they were too dark-skinned and overweight to enter club.
Omarion withdrew from a scheduled appearance at London’s DSTRKT nightclub on Oct. 2, just days after the venue was accused of denying entry to women deemed too dark-skinned or overweight.
The singer and star of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Hol- lywood” took to Twitter hours before he was due to perform at the popular West End venue, saying, “I will not be at- tending #DstrktLondon
tonight period.”
This all started last week
when a woman, Lin Mei claimed she was invited to DSTRKT by a promoter, only to have her friends Reisha and Tasha told to stand across the street to be exam- ined by management.
Mei claimed the friends were told they were “too dark” and “overweight” to be al- lowed entry.

It's lonely at the top, at least when you are a principled fe- male popstar.
