Rae Sremmurd is out here winning and living the rock-star life. But, for some reason ru- mors keep popping up that a split is imminent, with both artists recently featuring on tracks by themselves.
However, the Mississippi duo is here to let the fans know that rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.
“That’s a myth,” said Swae Lee when asked if their last album would be their final group project. “Fake news,” Slim Jxmmi confirmed.
Safaree’s Uncle Found Murdered
Vincent Roper, the uncle of Safaree Samuels was found murdered.
Safaree, reality TV star (“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood), rapper and ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj, is dealing with the death of his uncle, Vincent Roper, who was found mur- dered in his Palmdale, Califor- nia home on Friday.
According to NBC4 Los An- geles, Samuels’ uncle, 64-year- old Vincent Roper, was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant. The victim lived alone, according to family and friends.
Acquaintances Marquisha and Anthony Kirklin went to check on Roper after he didn’t respond to their repeated text messages. They called 911 after they looked inside and saw the place was in disarray and blood on a daybed.
Roper, a native of Jamaica, was a retired craftsman who was beloved by his neighbors and family. Samuels, understand- ably, is in shock over his uncle’s death.
Samuels also went on his In- stagram page asking the public’s help in finding his uncle’s killer.

Reid will try to recreate the success he had with Laface Records, which he launched in 1989. LaFace went on to kick start the careers of iconic acts like OutKast, Goodie Mob, TLC and Usher.
Usher is fighting to have a $20 million lawsuit, filed by a woman who claims the singer gave her herpes, dismissed.
The Georgia woman accused the Yeah! hitmaker of infecting her with the sexually transmit- ted disease last month.
The star denies her accusa- tion and claims her lawsuit does not mention whether she was tested for the illness be- fore she began a sexual rela- tionship with him.
According to documents, the 38-year-old alleges, "A pre- vious sexual partner very well may have already infected
her."
Usher also maintains that
she could have contracted her- pes from someone other than him after their encounter and put herself at risk by having "casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex."
He is asking a judge to toss the suit.
Meanwhile, Usher previ- ously told friends he was never with Quantasia Sharpton, another woman who is suing the singer for putting her at risk of contract- ing a sexually transmitted dis- ease.

The long-time label exec will be launching his own en- tertainment company in 2018, reports Billboard.
The new company will be multi-faceted, with a record label and publishing unit.
Reid exited his position as chairman at Epic Records in May, after being a part of the team for six years.
Reid, who started with the imprint in 2011, helped the likes of Future, DJ Khaled and Travis Scott all earn No. 1 albums over the past year.
He also signed popping acts like 21 Savage and Zoey Dollaz, and inked popular non-hip-hop acts like Meghan Trainor and Fifth Harmony.
However, his tenure at Epic was not without incident. Shortly after he left the label, he was sued for sexual harass- ment. The accuser claims 60-

Netflix is celebrating Def Comedy Jam's silver anniver- sary by premiering a special on the streaming service. The up- coming program is executive produced by Simmons, Stan Lathan, Sandy Wernick, and Jesse Collins.

boasts a who's-who of Black stand-ups performing and paying tribute to the comedy showcase that gave some of them heir first major TV expo- sure.

Def Comedy Jam” origi- nally ran from 1992 to 1996, with Simmons and HBO re- booting it in 2006 for another two years.
Def Comedy Jam 25 will debut on Netflix this fall.
RZA has linked up with eOne to drop a new album by the legendary Wu-Tang Clan.
Wu-Tang Clan is re- uniting for a new album being released on a new label headed up by founder The RZA.
Wu-Tang: The Saga Con- tinues will be released on 36 Chambers ALC, which is a joint venture between RZA, and Mustafa Shaik and eOne. The album is com-
pletely produced by DJ Mathmatics.
The first Wu album under the deal will contain 10 new songs, and will feature guest appearances by Method Man, Raekwon, Ghost- face Killah, Mista Killa, Inspektah Deck, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, RZA, Redman, Sean Price and others.
Wu-Tang: The Saga Con- tinues is due in stores on Oc- tober 13.
