Hillsborough County wants to know residents’ concerns and chal- lenges as they re-engage with work, businesses, and social activities.
An anonymous survey, offered in English and Spanish, will meas- ure respondents’ attitudes about a variety of factors related to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The survey will help create a com- munity-wide conversation about economic efforts, public safety measures, and other recovery ac- tions.
County officials will use infor- mation from the survey as they pre- pare plans to carefully reopen County services and facilities and offer resources to residents and businesses. The data will be ana- lyzed by a number of factors, in- cluding demographic and geographic information, to gain per- spectives that reflect the County’s diverse makeup.
Visit HCFLGov.net/Re- openHC to participate in the survey. To participate by text, text re- openHC to 73224 or reopenHCEs- panol to 73224.
Survey questions focus on gain- ing insight from residents, business operators, and employees/workers about the following:
- Attitudes about phased re- opening
- Attitudes about employer ac- tions in the workplace
- Intention to continue to take personal safety precautions
- Comfort level with patronizing in-person businesses
- General knowledge of COVID- 19 coronavirus
Dr. Eric Eisenberg, Dean of the University of South Florida Col- lege of Arts and Science, will lead the two-week project on behalf of Hillsborough County. The survey is open to all residents of Hillsbor- ough County, including Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City.
