    D. E. L. T. A., Inc. Celebrates 20 Years
 Delta Enriches Life Through Awareness (D.E.L.T.A.), Inc., a local 501(c)3 organization, is celebrating 20 years of service to the Tampa Bay community. They are earmarking this event with a wine sampling and live music reception featuring a silent auction, followed by a program with keynote speaker.
The 20th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser event will feature Dr. Solita Rene Jones, OB/GYN, Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Jones, a Hillsborough High School graduate and former recipient of a scholarship provided by the nonprofit in collaboration with the Tampa Alum- nae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will share her story of triumph and commitment to give back to the community.
Dr. Jones was born in Dallas, TX and raised in the heart of West Tampa under the care of her grandparents, Johnnie B. Jones and Cassie Mae Jones. She graduated from Hillsborough High School’s International Baccalaureate pro- gram with a 6.0 weighted GPA.
Dr. Jones went on to attend the University of South Florida under a full scholarship, funded by the George W. Jenkins scholarship from Publix Su- permarkets Charities. At USF, she majored in Bio- medical Sciences with a minor in Women's Studies.

business offering private, at-home tutoring serv- ices to high school students.
She went on to attend Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class with high honors and was in- ducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is now a fourth year obstetrics and gy- necology resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (in Jackson, MS) and plans to go on to pursue a career in Maternal Fetal Medicine, practicing high risk obstetrics while continuing to serve the underserved.

      Tampa Alphas Recruiting For 2018-2019 Men Of Tomorrow Program
 The Tampa Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Men of Tomorrow Program.
This program, which is the local chapter’s initiative of the Fraternity’s National “Go-to-High School, Go-to- College” Program, is geared toward helping students succeed in middle school, high school and college.
Workshops are held from August to June on topics for success, such as goal setting, time management, ca- reer choices, financial aid, study skills, interviewing skills, college life, financial responsibility and manag- ing money, as well as standardized state and SAT/ACT test preparation.

lege tours and social out- ings such as the Alpha Phi Alpha Southern Re-
gion Leader- s h i p Develop- ment Insti- tute, which was held in June at Alcorn State University in Mississippi.

attended/ or are currently attending a variety of colleges and universities including: Notre Dame, the Naval Academy, Washington University, University of Florida, Florida A&M
University, Florida State University, Morehouse College, University of South Florida, the University ofMiami,Uni- versity of Tampa, and Bethune- Cookman Uni-
versity. Prominent

The Men of Tomorrow Program is funded through the GZL Educa- tional Foundation, Inc. (a 501-c-3 organization) with contributions from generous individuals, organiza- tions, and companies as well as from events such as an annual Golf Tour- nament scheduled for Fall 2018 at Saddlebrook Resort.
The Men of Tomorrow Program is open to middle and high school students in grades 6 through 12.
