Kanye West Delivers
Twitter Loses Its Collective Mind Listening To Lil Wayne's ‘Tha Carter V’
LIL WAYNE
The moment has finally ar- rived. Lil Wayne’s highly an- ticipated album, Tha Carter V, was unleashed into the world last Thursday.
The long-awaited release put a cherry on top of Weezy’s 36th birthday and ended atu- multuous chapter in his story.
With guest vocals from
Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Sossaman, Ashanti, Mack Maine, Nivea, Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and the late XXXTENTACION, the 23- track album — understandably — lit Twitter on fire.
Post Malone, who was re- portedly added to the project last minute, was noticeably ab- sent.
Some are calling for Tha Carter V’s release date to be a national holiday while others simply can’t believe it’s here.
Will Smith Is Rapping Again On 'Está Rico' With Marc Anthony And Bad Bunny
WILL SMITH, MARK ANTHONY AND BAD BUNNY
The inimitable Will Smith was cooking up something spe- cial for his fans last week. Jaden Smith took to Twitter to dangle an announcement about the elder Smith drop- ping new music.
“My Dads Bout To Drop Some Fire,” he wrote.
The Fresh Prince — who just celebrated his 50th birth- day by bungee jumping over the Grand Canyon — confirmed the news on his ever-popular Instagram account. In a video clip, he and Marc Anthony are getting down in the studio.
“Oh we ain’t stopping... birthday week continues to- morrow,” he wrote. “imma drop new music with @Mar- cAnthony and @BadBun- nyPR!! #EstaRico.”

Pro-Trump Rant On ‘SNL,’
Santana Returning To
Gets Booed By Audience
'Love & Hip Hop: New York'
Following his performance of “Ghost Town” during the 44th season premiere of Sat- urday Night Live, Kanye West, sporting a red Make America Great Again hat in support of President Don- ald Trump, went on one of his typical rants.
The bizarre lecture oc- curred off-air, after his per- formance, where he was joined by Kid Cudi and 070 Shake, and was cut for time— but comedian Chris Rock, who was in the audience at Studio 8H in New York City, was able to capture part of it on his Instagram.
In the clips, West, with the entire cast of SNL stand- ing behind him onstage— many of them rolling their eyes—delivered a rambling talk that began with him singing, “I wanna cry right now, black man in America, supposed to keep what you’re feelin’ inside right now...”
“The blacks want always Democrats... you know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare... does any- body know about that? That’s

a Democratic plan,” he contin- ued. “There’s so many times I talk to, like, a white person about this and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist.’ Well, uh, if I was con- cerned about racism I would’ve moved out of Amer- ica a long time ago.”
In the background of the video, Rock can be heard laughing and uttering the words “oh my God,” while others in the crowd audibly booed and yelled.
West, an ardent Trump supporter, was a last-minute SNL replacement for Ariana Grande. Earlier in the evening, he performed his track “I Love It” alongside Lil Pump dressed in a decidedly more kid-friendly costume: a Perrier bottle.
Following a four-year hia- tus, Joe Budden and Cyn Santana are returning to Love & Hip Hop: New York. Since leaving the show, the couple had a son together while Budden’s career in broadcasting jumped to an- other level.
Last month, Spotify bought into The Joe Budden Podcast and he inked a deal with REVOLT TV for a new show called State Of The Cul- ture.

Daz Dillinger Arrested And
Facing 13 Felony Counts
Atlanta Jeweler Drops T. I. Lawsuit Over $755K Bill
Daz Dillinger likely isn’t laughing now. Only a few days after blasting Kanye West and wife Kim Kar- dashian on social media, Tha Dogg Pound rapper was reportedly arrested at his Georgia home last week fol- lowing a drug raid.
Daz was taken into cus- tody after Atlanta police found 117 grams of mari- juana inside his home. He also had 10 THC pods, THC oil, a THC vaporizer and con- tainer in his home studio la- beled “Cannabis Lean,” which is described as a grape drink laced with cannabis.
As stated on the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office web- site, Daz — real name Del- mar Arnaud — was booked into Cobb County Jail on 12 counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of more than one ounce of marijuana. His bond is set at roughly $16,000 and he’s currently still in custody waiting to see
Following Drug Raid
T.I. has put another legal battle to bed.
The trap rap pioneer reached a deal with jeweler Aydin & Co. to settle a lawsuit over an alleged unpaid bill of $755,000.
A judge signed off on dis- missing the case without prej- udice. That means the jewelry company can refile the suit if T.I. doesn’t honor whatever deal was made.
Owner Fevzi Aydin, T.I. had an open account with the company but stopped paying for his lavish selections in 2013. The lawsuit was filed after attempts to reach out to T.I. for payment were unsuc- cessful.
T.I. has been taking his Hustle Gang motto a little too serious. The Hip Hop super- star is being sued by them for a whopping $755,000 for fail- ing to pay for shiny acces- sories he acquired from them, dating all the way back to 2004.
According to the lawsuit, Tip stopped making pay- ments on his open account (which was prompted by an

oral agreement) back in 2013. It included bills for seven cus- tom made diamond pendants valued at $145,000, $40,000 in “assorted women’s jew- elry,” a $30,000 blue dia- mond watch, a $24,500 women’s diamond bracelet, a $13,500 men’s wedding band, two $10,000 custom-made dog tags, $9,500 diamond hoop earrings, a 48-carat dia- mond chain — and those were just the items that were for- mally listed.
With the case in the rearview mirror, T.I. can focus on his upcoming album Dime Trap. The much-antici- pated LP will feature contri- butions by Dave Chappelle.

Daz found himself in
trouble earlier this year after threatening Kanye for sup- porting Donald Trump. He claimed ‘Ye filed a restrain- ing order against him after learning the gangsta rap vet told Los Angeles area Crips there was a “green light” on ‘Ye.
The Cali native went on to diss Kanye in a video for “True To The Game.”
It wasn’t long ago Daz was celebrating Suge Knight’s recent 28-year prison sentence as well.
