Universal has released a new trailer for "Straight Outta Compton," about gangsta rap group N.W.A.'s rise to fame, featuring an introduction by former members Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.
In the clip, the two leg- endary rappers, who helped found the group in 1986 along with Eazy-E and DJ Yella, cruise through their boyhood neighborhood of Compton reminiscing about the ground- breaking rap crew's early days.
"We put it all in the music, all our frustration and anger," Ice Cube says. "Our music was like our weapon."
"That's the most powerful weapon we got," Dr. Dre adds. Compton natives The Game and Kendrick Lamar also appear in the black-and- white clip talking about the ef- fect N.W.A.'s music had on

INDIA.ARIE
Indie.Arie has no hard feelings towards Lady Gaga, but not so much for her secu- rity guard after she was shunned away at the Grammys on Sunday.
While trying to reach out to Gaga for a quick hello on the red carpet, Arie’s hand was swatted away by the “Poker Face” singer’s security.
“When I reached to speak to @ladygaga her security swat- ted my wrist - clapping some- thing hard against my turquoise bracelet #Grammy2015 smh,” Arie wrote on Twitter.
Following the tweet, follow- ers of both Arie and Gaga be- came defensive, so she quickly unleashed more tweets, insist- ing she has no problem with Gaga, but she has a problem with being touched "aggres- sively."

Rihanna’s Magazine Photo Shoot Was Done At Tampa’s Florida Aquarium
Rihanna on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and swimming with sharks at the Aquarium.
Rihanna is facing her childhood fear of sharks.
The pop star dove into a tank with three 8-foot-long tiger sharks at The Florida Aquarium during a photo shoot for March's cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine.
Aquarium spokeswoman Katherine Claytor said Ri- hanna and photographer Norma Jean Roy actually went free diving with the sharks during the December shoot.
The fashion icon said she
was a fan of Steven Spiel- berg's "Jaws" movies, but they scared her so much she stayed out of the water each time a new movie was released. She said her father used to tease her by humming the movie's theme song.
The magazine cover is a tribute to the original movie poster and shows Rihanna in a Chanel swimsuit draped across the shark's jaws. The March issue of Harper's Bazaar US, will be on stands February 17.
Stevie J Faces N.Y. Federal Judge For Child Support
Reality-show star and hip- hop producer Stevie J and his wife, Joseline were con- fronted by hecklers outside Manhattan federal court over allegations of Stevie J being behind more than $1.1 million in child-support payments .
Joseline, who co-stars with her hubby on the VH1 re- ality show “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” verbally took on a middle-aged woman who shouted out, “You should be ashamed!” to Stevie J.
“Shut up! You don’t know him!” she shot back in his de- fense.
Minutes later, Stevie J – whose real name is Steven Jordan – pleaded not guilty before Judge Paul Crotty on charges of failure to pay child support from March 2001 until his arrest last June.
Jordan was arrested last June in Atlanta on charges that he shirked his child sup- port obligations in New York, failing to pay $1.1 million in court-ordered child support

for his teen son and daughter who live with their mom — his former live-in girlfriend Carol Bennett – in Pennsyl- vania.
Crotty during the proceed- ings questioned why prosecu- tors are pursuing child-support charges in fed- eral court, saying such a tactic “is rare.”
But Assistant US Attorney Andrew DeFilippis told the judge federal charges are war- ranted because the unpaid child-support payments are very high and the matter was never successfully resolved in Family Court “over the course of more than 10 years.”
