Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mercury is now going retrograde in your sign. The last time this happened was in 2010. (Just a hint in 2011.) This means you will likely be involved with ex-part- ners and encounter old faces from your past. If you feel like you’re dropping the ball, relax. You aren’t.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) In the month ahead, Mercury will be retrograde. Inevitably, this causes errors, delays, misplaced items and mixed-up communications. However, for your sign, this Mer- cury retrograde will be useful be- cause you can finish a lot of research and find answers for old problems.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Old friends will be back in your life again. Expect to hear from them online or bump into them in person. This will be a great oppor- tunity to trade lies about the bad old days; plus let’s face it, it’s good to have history with others.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) Mercury will be retrograde for the next month at the top of your chart, which means you will en- counter bosses, parents and VIPs from your past. This could also mean that you have a second chance to explore something, which might be helpful to you.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Mercury retrograde will be very helpful for those of you who want to study old material at school or for those who need to finish a big paper, especially a the- sis or even a book. You will find it easy to wrap things up in the com- ing month. (But hard to go for- ward with new projects.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Use the month ahead to deal with disputes and wrap up loose details regarding inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt and such. You will be surprised at how quickly you can cut through old, red-tape matters during a Mer- cury retrograde. Use this to your
advantage!
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Ex-partners and old friends will be back on the scene now because in the next month, Mercury will be retrograde directly opposite your sign. For many, this could be a chance for closure or some kind of clarification that makes every- one breathe easier. And so it goes.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
It’s hard to defend yourself from the silly errors and mistakes that will occur at work or on the job. Because this maddening influence will last for a month, just grin and bear it. There is an upside: It will be much easier to finish old proj- ects at work.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Old flames are back in your life. Actually, sometimes this can be thrilling. It’s complicated, but there are a number of reasons why it might add a dash of spice to one’s life, no? Of course, there are exceptions, which could make it what the Queen might call a mense horribilis.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Your ruler Mercury will make you suffer from the slings and arrows of mixed-up communications, de- layed transportation and lost pa- perwork — to mention some of the frustrations that happen dur- ing Mercury retrograde. It will last about a month.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Expect transportation delays in the month ahead. If you suspect you might have car problems, jump on those repairs now. How- ever, even public transportation will be frustrating. Long-lost sib- lings might re-appear. (“Spare me fifty?”)
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) In the month ahead, you will feel the ef- fects of Mercury retrograde in a fi- nancial way. Checks in the mail will be late. Money owed to you might be delayed. However, you can wrap up financial matters very neatly with a bow. You win some; you lose some.
