Forum Held At Middleton High School
Meet & Greet Candidates Political
On Thursday, August 4th, members of the community gathered at Middleton High School. The purpose of the gathering was to give members of the community an opportunity to get to know candidates seeking elected positions prior to the upcoming Primary Election.
The forum was sponsored by several organizations including the Hillsborough County Branch NAACP, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, TOBA, and EmergeUSA, among others.
More than 500 people were in attendance, many of whom participated in the Hillsborough County Branch NAACP Straw Poll. (Photography by Julia Jackson and BRUNSON).

Among those attending the forum were Ms. Vertez Edmond and Ms. Jaylia Cole.
Members of the Hillsborough County Branch NAACP attending the forum at Middleton High School were Angela Gaston, Albert Edmonds, of the NAACP Youth Council, Kyle Smith, Ms. Con- suela Williams, and Jeffrey Rhodes.
Jackie Hearns, of Southern Style Outdoor Cooks, and Dee Lee attended the event.
