AIKENS
MR. ARTHUR JAMES BATTLE, JR.
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Arthur James Battle, Jr. of Tampa, who passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 will be held Saturday, Septem- ber 10th, 2 p. m. at Aikens Fu- neral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Anto- nio Hawkins, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Arthur was born October 19, 1992 in Tampa, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He loved going to amusements parks and playing video games of all kinds.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Calvin and Doretha Hart and Henry and Gwendolyn Battle.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories with: his parents, Arthur James Battle, Sr., and Juanita Green; brother, Rojelio Howard and Ricky Robinson, Jr.; sister, Sheri Green (Amanzo); aunts, Darling Hart and Lenora Cov- ington; uncles, Leonard Hart (Karen), Bernard Hart and Steddrick Davenport (Markeshia); niece, Zhenasia Howard; nephews, Daveon Green, Daquon Green, Javon Howard, Rojelio Howard, Jr., Rictarious Robinson and Dvante Cox; cousins, Breonna Mulkey, Bryan Hammond and Calvin Covington; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, September 9th from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p. m. The fam- ily and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
MR. JOSEPH C. BLACK
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Joseph C. Black of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 will bethheld Saturday, September 10 , 11 a. m. at St. John Progres- sive M. B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, pastor, of- ficiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Joseph C. Black was born July 8, 1954 to the late Alfred Black and Blonnie Baker in Tampa. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Alfred Black, Jr.; sister, Gwendolyn Wright; and niece, Mentorial McCall.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his chil- dren, Ambra Black, Felecia Museau and Willette Streets; grandchildren, Alyssa Streets, Joseph Museau, Jr., Asia Streets and Julie Museau; brothers, James Johnson, Jr. and Tharon Baker; sisters, De- lores Cox and Rubeana Woodard; step-brother, Norris Baker; step-sister, Yvonne Baker; nieces, Joyce Wright, Lorane Baxter, Sheri Saffore, Sonya Black, Tanill House, Michelle Tompkins and Nar- dina Baker; nephews, Collie Cox, Di’Avanti Bedford, Christopher Tompkins, An- thony Baker, Tharon Baker, Jr., Robert Lee, Baker Jr., Calvin Baker and Jermaih Johnson; a host of great nephews and other cousins and relatives; including cousins, Hayward Johnson and Henry Talbert; mother of his children, Annie Fipps; close family friends, Mary Shorter and Eddie Shoemaker, Jr.

DONTE’ L. BOSTIC
A homegoing service for Mr. Donte’ LaJuan Bostic who passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, will be held Saturday, September 10th, 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Rev. Dr. Samuel Maxwell, pastor with Bishop Sylvester Robinson, eulogist. The in- terment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donte’ was born March 23, 1992 in Tampa, but resided in Clearwater, Florida at the time of his passing. He graduated from East Bay High School, Riverview, FL class of 2011. He was employed with Gate- way, Inc. Donte’ was a mem- ber of the Juvenile Diabetes of America, Tampa Chapter. He enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing and fashion. Donte’ loved spending time with his family and dreamed of be- coming a chef.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Roo- sevelt Robinson, Jr. and uncle, Michael Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories with: his parents, Della Sheron Robinson and Bartholomew Zundel Bostic; brother, Dominic Bostic; sis- ters, LeTangila Bostic and Belicia Bostic; grandmoth- ers, Pearlie M. Robinson and Barbara J. Bostic; aunts, Irene Goggins (Alton, Sr.), Edna Eaton (Coleman, Jr.) Darleanatte Parker (Ray) and Tangila Hymes; uncle, Bishop Sylvester Robinson (Tammy); nephew, Kaiden Bostic; a host of cousins; godfather, Malcolm Small; friends, Brenda Curet and Ivie Erica Igunbor; and extended fam- ily, Craig McDaniel and the McDaniel’s family; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss him.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 9th from 5 to 8 p. m. The family will re- ceive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
MS. MARCIA E. HAWKINS
A homegoing celebration for Ms. Marcia E. Hawkins of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 will be held Saturday, September 10th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK, Jr. Blvd. Rev. James L. Gallon, officiating.
Marcia Hawkins was born on August 18, 1946 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She was employed for 39 years as a teacher for the Hillsborough County School Board. Marcia was a mem- ber of Saint James House of Prayer Episcopal Church, Tampa Metropolitan Alumane Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Retired and Proud, Inc.
Marcia was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Lucious and Lottie B. Jack- son; mother, Catherine J. Pearson; nieces, Evanae, Lakesia and Karlany Echols.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories with: her son, Miguel Mitchell; brother, Phillip Pearson; sister, Sharon A. Pearson; grandsons, Michael Mitchell, Joshua Mitchell and Chris Mitchell; nephews, Ramone Echols and Pierre Pearson; great- grandson, Aidan Mitchell; other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
