MRS. DAISY MAE UNDERWOOD
Mrs. Daisy Mae Under- wood of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, September 10,2016at11a.m.atMt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Av- enue, with Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirkland, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Daisy Mae Under- wood was born July 5, 1918 and was a native of Americus, GA. She was a resident of Tampa for 77 years and was employed as a housekeeper. Mrs. Underwood dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and served as a member of the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Mission Society until her health no longer allowed her to do so. She spent a life- time as a loving matriarch.
Daisy is preceded in death by: her parents, Mattie and Gene Lusane; her husband, Henry Underwood; her 2 daughters, Mable Jones and Barbara Gainous; her 2 sons, Johniell Underwood and Ralph Underwood, Sr.; her grandson, Daurron Jamison; and her 3 brothers, Robert Lu- sane, Gabriel Lusane, and Walter Foster.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Cornell Under- wood, Sr. of Mableton, GA; daughter, Beverly Peterson- Fennell of Newark, NJ; daugh- ter-in-law, Regina Underwood of Tampa, FL; 14 grandchil- dren, Vincent (June) Jones of Ocala, FL, Alton Jones of Ar- lington, TX, Cornell (Joanie) M. Underwood of Lumberton, NC, Rodney (Lisa) Jones of Gainesville, FL, Kyle (Melissa) Gainous of Tampa, Kale Gain- ous of Tampa, Rotanda Under- wood-Myers of Atlanta, GA, Keith Williams of Ft. Laud- erdale, FL, Cecilia McCarty of Memphis, TN, Levaunt Peter- son of Neward, NJ, Tracie (Jerome) Underwood-Lowe of Tampa, Keith Underwood of Tampa, Lorraine Davis of At- lanta, GA, Ralph (Quisha) Un- derwood, Jr. of Tampa, Bernard “B. K.” Jackson of Tampa, and Jasmine Jackson of Tampa; dedicated nieces, Alberta Dowdell and Ola Mae Lusane; a host of nephews, nieces, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and several loyal friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, Septem- ber 9, 2016 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will re- ceive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p. m. at the chapel.

MRS. DOROTHY LEE ROBINSON ‘DOT’
On Sunday morning Sep- tember 4, 2016 around 7:05 a. m., God summoned his faith- ful servant, Dorothy to come on home. She gracefully closed her eyes and said thank you Lord well done.
Home going celebration for Mrs. Dorothy Lee (Dot) Robinson will be held on Sat- urday, September 10, 2016 at 11 a. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, 33605, with Rev. Ronald C. Hubbard, officiating and Rev. Prentiss Davis, eulo- gist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson was pre- ceded in death by: husband, Fred Robinson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Girard Green; and brother, Nathaniel G. Green.
Dorothy leaves precious memories in the hearts of her caregivers: nieces, Alliene Maddox-Latson and husband, Michael, Ollie Maddox Carter, Margaret Maddox Walker and husband, Alton, and Beverly Maddox Glover and husband, Ricardo all of Tampa, FL; brother, W. L. Green and wife, Maude of El Cierro, California; sister, Giroleen Bright of San Jose, California; nephews, Jack and Herbert Maddox, Crecensico A. Holmes and wife, Denise and Donnell C. Holmes of Tampa; niece, Deb- orah McFarland, Tampa; 3 sis- ters-in-law, Ruby Mae Johnson of Sacramento, Cali- fornia, Margaret Lester of St. Petersburg, and Elouise Jack- son of Lakeland, FL; numer- ous cousins, including the Green, Maddox, Davis, Cole, Thompson, Bozeman families and other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was born in Tampa, on November 10, 1917 to the parentage of Girard and Daisy Nance Green. She at- tended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Middleton High School. Ms. Robinson later moved to Detroit, Michi- gan and continued her educa- tion at the University of Michigan, majoring in Busi- ness Administration. Mrs. Robinson was employed with Blue Cross and Blue Shield for over forty years. She later re- turned to Tampa and was a resident here for the past 12 years. Mrs. Robinson met and fell in love with the love of her life, Fred Robinson and re- mained faithful for over sev- enty years.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 9, 2016 from5–8p.m.withthefam- ily present to receive friends in thechapelfrom6–7p.m.
Friends are asked to as- semble at the funeral home at approximately 10:45 a. m. Sat- urday for the service.

LaShawn Riggins. Mr. Levonia Riggins, III was greatly blessed to have two very special sets of parents including his foster mother, Jessie “Ma Jessie” Williams. He attended the pub- lic schools in the Clair Mel area where he grew up.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home and the family will re- ceive friends in the chapel from 7 -8 p. m.

DEACONESS EULA MAE HODGES
A homegoing celebration of Deaconess Eula Mae Hodges, who passed away on September 1, 2016, will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 11 a. m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Tampa, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating and Pastor Gregory Davis, eulogist. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deaconess Eula Mae Hodges was born in the year of our Lord and Savior March 15, 1917 in Buena Vista, Georgia to Victor Adams and Nettie Wooden Adams. She was the youngest of eight children and the mother of Barbara Hodges Larry and the late Willie T. Turner.
Mrs. Hodges was married in holy matrimony to a very de- voted husband, the late Johnson Hodges, for 60 years. All of her childhood was spent in Georgia but, she later moved to Stuckey, FL in Lake County where she lived with her sister. Her entire married life was spent in Tampa.
Mrs. Hodges joined and was a faithful member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as deaconess, on Usher Board #3, and played a very active role in the Mission- ary Society. She was also active in the community with Mission Group #3. Her activities in- cluded civic organizations, such as the NAACP with travels to Washington, D. C. and she was a member of the Christmas Sav- ings Club.
Mrs. Hodges received Christ in her early years and had been on this heaven bound journey until the 1st day of September 2016 in the year of our Lord. She has now entered her heavenly rest with her late husband, Dea- con Johnson Hodges.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: a very devoted daughter, Barbara Hodges Larry; grandsons, Damon Lamar Larry, Damul Lamini Larry, Byron Andre Turner, Cedrick Anson Turner; great granddaughters, Kea Marie Turner, DaShona Daniels; a daughter-in-law, Emma W. Turner; devoted nieces and nephews, Christine Faulk of New Jersey, Evelyn Myers, Max- ine Mason, Ester and Sunny of Connecticut; the Bright family of Jacksonville; Bobbie Adams, Juanita Sampson of Georgia; Joan Pinkney, Sylvia Beachman, Cornelius Terry, Rosalia Young of Tampa, Bernice Hodges of Stuckey, FL, Perry Hodges of Stuckey, FL, Avernita Martin of Tallahassee, Carol Cason of Tampa; a host of relative and friends; her goddaughters Eileen Wilford, Beverly Bailey of Tampa, as well as her adopted family.

Homegoing service for Mr. Levonia “Daddy Man” Riggins, III who departed from this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, will be held on Satur- day, September 10, 2016, 1 p. m. at The Center for Manifestation, located at 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa (33610), with the Pastor, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr. eulo- gist and Pastor Antonio R. Hawkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Riggins was preceded in death by: grandfather, Levonia Riggins, Sr. and his special fa- ther, Cecil Williams.
