MR. DONAHUE DESQUE PRESSLEY
A memorial celebra- tion for Mr. Donahue Desque Pressley, who passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016, will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. James AME Church, Rev. Byron B. Pressley officiating.
Mr. Pressley was a na- tive of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and a graduate of Robinson High School, Class of 1989. He was em- ployed with CDB restau- rant as a cook for many years.
Mr. Pressley was pre- ceded in death by: his par- ents, Mr. James Pressley and Mrs. Aleatha Marr; and sister, Pamela Mason.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with: 3 sons, Donahue Pressley, Jr., Dehreon Pressley, and James Pressley; 1 grand- daughter, Dominque Pressley; 3 sisters, Deme- tria Pressley, Lawanna Pressley-James, Ondria Bryant (John); 3 brothers, Rev. A 58-year-old Tampa man was taken into custody and charged with DUI this week- end. He was arrested shortly after 2 a.m., Saturday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Bruce Fer- nando Green was traveling southbound in the north- bound lanes of State Road 589 when he passed a Tampa Police officer traveling north- bound in the inside lane.
The police officer con- ducted a traffic stop and no- tified the Florida Highway Patrol. When the troopers ar- rived at the intersection of State Road 589 and State

Road 60, they determined that Green was impaired and took him into custody.
Green was released from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting a $500 bond.

Wrong-Way Driver Arrested After Accident
The Florida Highway Pa- trol arrested a woman who was traveling in the wrong di- rection on Hillsborough Av- enue this past weekend.
According to police, around 11 p.m., Friday, Ms. Yadixa Rodriguez, 45, of Thonotosassa, was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima west- bound in the inside lane of Hillsborough Avenue, ap- proaching Benjamin Road. For undetermined reasons, she crossed 0ver the curbed median separating the east and west lanes.
Ms. Rodriguez was meeting head-on traffic when the vehicle veered to the right to avoid a collision.
This action resulted in the front of Ms. Rodriguez’s vehi- cle colliding with the Traffic Control Signal in the center median of the intersection.
She continued to travel westbound in the inside lane, approaching other stopped traffic. She reportedly veered to the right again in an at- tempt to avoid again. How- ever, the right front side of her vehicle collided with the left front of a 2010 BMW 328I, driven by Ms. Cheryl

Segreto, 43, of St. Peters- burg. Ms. Segreto was not injured and her passenger, identified as Ms. Karen Slaugenhaupt, 49, also of St. Petersburg, received minor injuries.
After the accident, police said Ms. Rodriguez struck an unidentified good Samar- itan who had stopped to as- sist with the accident.
She was taken into cus- tody and charged with driv- ing under the influence with property damage, refusal to submit to testing, and bat- tery. Her bond on a battery domestic violence charge was also revoked.
Ms. Rodriguez was being held at the Hillsbor- ough County Jail without bond.
