MRS. MARY LEE ‘DOLL’ COLLINS
Mrs. Mary Lee “Doll” Collins, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, Janu- ary 27, 2022. Homegoing Serv- ices will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Temple Church, 1215 E. 109th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612, with Bishop Allen Johnson, Jr., officiating. MASKS RECOM- MENDED.
Interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mary Lee Collins, affec- tionately called “Doll,” was born March 18, 1925, in Tallahassee, Florida, to John and Cora Hayes. Our family Matriarch was blessed with 96 wonderful years of life.
At an early age, Mary’s fam- ily relocated to Tampa, where she attended local schools. Most notably, the historic St. Peter Claver Catholic School, where coincidentally, some of her great grandchildren went on to attend as well.
Mary retired from employ- ment with the Hillsborough County Public School System to become a full time caregiver for her mother, Cora. She then went on to become a caregiver for her husband, Leon, as well as other family members.
Mary was always there to love and take care of others in their time of need —- something that her family will always re- member and cherish. She will be greatly missed.
Mary was preceded in death by: her husband, Leon Collins; parents, John Hayes, Sr., and Cora Leon-Hayes; brother, John Hayes, Jr.; sister, Ollie Bell Hayes; and eldest son, Julius L. Daniels, Jr.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her long life: sons, Claude Johnson, (Gail), of San Diego, CA, Earnest Johnson, and Alvin Johnson, both of Tampa; grandchildren, Ingrid, Claude, Jr., Tia (Robert), Rona (Luther), Pricilla, Gloria, Teron (Tanisha), Anthony, Alvin, Jr., Andre, Danielle, Renee, Theresa, and Trina.
She was blessed with thirty- one great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchil- dren.
Visitation will be held on Fri- day, February 11, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606. MASKS RECOM- MENDED.

MS. IDA J. COLLIER
Ms. Ida J. “Susie” Collier of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. A Home- going Celebration will be held on Sat- urday, February 12, 2022, 2 p. m. at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610, Rev. Dr. Mark T. Jones Sr., Pastor, with Rev. Gregory Davis, officiating. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Ms. Ida J. Collier was born Janu- ary 13, 1964, in Tampa, Florida to Juanita and Leroy Hunter, Sr. She was baptized at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church at an early age. She was edu- cated in the Hillsborough County Public Schools System and graduated from Leto High School. Susie began her career at Metropolitan Life Insur- ance Company, where she worked many years in claims before moving to United Health Care. She spent the last half of her career at University of South Florida Health Care in central scheduling. She enjoyed hosting and attending family events. She loved her family very much and enjoyed cook- ing for them and welcoming them to her table of epic feasts. She was filled with love and compassion and would help anyone in need by offering a lis- tening ear or an act of kindness. She also loved the Lord and enjoyed the fellowship of her Sunday School class. She kept herself and her family going with the power of prayer.
Susie was a natural leader and a great problem solver. She loved lis- tening to music and dancing with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, going on Caribbean Cruises, and watching the soap op- eras. Susie will be remembered as a loving fiancée, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend.
She was preceded in death by: her dear mother, Juanita Hunter, and eldest sister, Jacquelyn Davis.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: father, Leroy Hunter, Sr., fi- ancée, Dennard Thomas; daughter, Shayla Thomas (Shayne); stepdaugh- ter, Tashika Washington (Jamal); sis- ter, Lucian Hunter; brother, Leroy Hunter, Jr. (Cynthia); mother-in-law, Ruby Thomas; brother-in-law, Norris Davis; grandchildren, Shayne Joseph, III, Shayne Joseph, Jr., Michayla Hillard, Michael Hillard, Jr., Amorris Washington, and Jordan Washington; aunts, Mamie Hunter, Mary Hunter, Eloise Brown, and Georgia Mae Stringfield (Art); god- daughters, Sherricka Jones-Naidu, Yvette Hollis, and Aramita Wingate; dear friends, Kaysonia Hollis and Amy Sago; neighbors and friends in- cluding The Peterson Family, The Brown Family, The Davis Family, The Diaz Family, The Delafield Family, The Joseph Family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

MR. ANTHONY SHERMAN HOLLOWAY
Mr. Anthony Sherman Hol- loway of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Bible-Based Fellowship Church, 4811 Ehrlich Road, Tampa, Florida 33624, with Pastor Anthony White, officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Mr. Anthony S. Holloway was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylva- nia and a resident of Tampa for 32 years. Anthony married Wanda Jean Jones on June 14, 1986, and shared 34 years of marriage.
He was a dedicated member of Bible-Based Fellowship Church, where he served as an Usher and in the Men of Faith Choir. Anthony was a proud Master Mason, Scot- tish Rite Mason 32 degree and Prince Hall Shriner.
Anthony was preceded in death by: his mother, Alma Ruby Shaw; father, James Wheeler; and sisters, Desiree Holloway and Jacqueline Shaw.
Cherishing his memory and cel- ebrating his life are: wife, Wanda Holloway; daughters, Brandi Hol- loway, and Shareece Hogan; son, Brandon Holloway; brother, Rus- sell Shaw; sisters, Denise Holloway and Yvette Shaw; grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

MR. ERIC VERNON ENNIS
Mr. Eric Vernon Ennis of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Homegoing Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Victory A.M.E. Church, Rev. Michael Price, Sr., Pastor, 5202 S. 86th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33619, with Rev. Dwayne E. Sanders, Sr., of St. Mary M.B. Church, Tampa, Florida, offi- ciating, and Senior Pastor Thad- daeus Jones, of Faith Without Walls Church, Port St. Lucie, Florida, eulogist. MASKS RE- QUIRED. Mr. Eric Vernon Ennis was born September 17, 1964, to the parentage of Alfred and Ira Lee Ennis. He was raised in the Progress Village community. Eric was known by many nicknames by his friends and family depending on where he was, including ‘E,” “Big E,” “EE,” and most commonly known as “Cheeto.”
Eric was educated in the Hills- borough County School Public Schools system. He graduated from Tampa Bay Tech High School, Class of 1982. He furthered his education at FAMU majoring in Electronics and graduated with the Class of 1987.
Eric was employed with Duke Energy for more than 33 years as an Engineer. He loved his job and the many friends he made while work- ing there.
Eric loved sports and played softball on many Tampa Bay area teams. In his later years, he began playing golf. He was very competi- tive and a huge Tampa Bay Bucca- neers fan.
Eric was preceded in death by: his parents, Alfred and Ira Lee Ennis; grandmothers, Willie Mae Starling Harris and Mary Ennis.
Eric leaves to cherish loving memories with: his three daugh- ters, Dominque Ennis, Erika Ennis and Cierra Adams; four brothers, Alfred Ennis, Jr., Michael Ennis (Pamela), Myron Ennis, and Oliver Ennis (Valerie), two sisters, Pamela Colleton and Carol Shepherd; nieces, Katrina Colleton (Monique), Darla Nesbit (Freddie), Darlene Nelson (Ken), Tangela Ennis, Desiree Ennis, Delena Ennis, Kelli Ennis, and Antonia Shepherd; nephews, Terrance Ennis, Shawn Shepherd and Korri Ennis; aunts, Willie Mae Gadsden, Lorraine Hunter, Emerine Matthews, and Ann Mosley; uncle, Rudolph Star- ling; godson, DaVincio Flowers; and, a host of cousins, other sor- rowing relatives and friends.

MR. CURTIS “CURT” MCKENZIE
Mr. Curtis “Curt” McKenzie, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on, Saturday, January 29, 2022. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606, with Pastor Nathaniel Jerome Kelly, of Philemon Ministries in Apopka, Florida, officiating. MASKS RECOMMENDED.
Mr. Curtis “Curt” McKenzie was born on November 7, 1947, in Plant City (Knight Station), Florida to the late Catherine Lawrence McKenzie and Willie Frank McKenzie.
He attended schools in Plant City. He moved to Tampa in his 20s and he resided in Tampa for over 50 years. Curtis was a soft spoken person and he loved spending time with his siblings and all his family and friends. Curtis always had a smile on his face.
He enjoyed watching Western movies. He always wore a nice hat of some style. He always made sure his sisters or his nieces would fix him a to-go plate at family events —- he didn’t like to eat in front of everyone. He Loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Curtis was preceded in death by: his parents, Catherine and Willie McKenzie; sisters, Dorothy Cooper, Phelvia Williams and Willie Jane Gillette; brothers, Frank McKenzie and Willie James McKenzie; nephew, Andre “Mike” Williams; niece, Deborah Gant Brown; and, great niece, Chandra Gant Brown.
