Woman Stopped In Stolen Vehicle Arrested
    A woman involved in a stolen vehicle who accused a police officer of pointing his gun at her has been arrested. She was taken into custody by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident began shortly before 5 p.m., on June 18th by a Tampa Police officer. The officer stopped the 2020 black Altima near the intersection of N. 48th Street and E. Sligh Avenue.
Ms. Joneshia Wilker- son, 23, was the driver and another female was the occu- pant. She video-taped a por- tion of the encounter and released it on Instagram.

rented Ms. Wilkerson the vehicle and identified her from her Instagram video. Detectives were also pro- vided surveillance footage at Hertz that showed Ms. Wilkerson renting the car, police said.
They also discovered that the driver’s license used be- longed to a friend who lent it to Ms. Wilkerson in ex- change for $200. The phone number provided on the rental agreement was the same as the one Ms. Wilk- erson provided to Tampa Police when she was stopped.
Ms. Wilkerson was lo- cated in Riverview on Tues- day and was taken into custody. She was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and trans- ported to the Hillsborough County Jail.

by the Pinellas County Sher- iff’s Office, they discovered that the owner of the credit card, who lives in Indiana, still had possession of the card and had not rented a ve- hicle.

     Postal Clerk Indicted For Mail Theft, Bank Fraud
   Last week, a 30-year-old postal employee was arrested. She is facing several federal charges.
Ms. Jasmine Wynne, of Ruskin, is accused of conspir- acy to commit bank fraud, 5 counts of aggravated identity theft, and 1 count of theft of a postal key. The indictment also notified Ms. Wynne that the United States intends to forfeit assets used in the of- fense.
According to the indict- ment, Ms. Wynne, was a Postal Clerk with the United States Postal Service, as- signed to the St. Petersburg Retail Post Office. She is al- leged to have conspired with others to defraud federally in- sured financial institutions.
Ms. Wynne used her sta- tus and the special access she had as an USPS employee to open First-Class mail and to photograph personal identi- fying information (“PII”) and bank account information.
Ms. Wynne then for- warded the photographs to co-conspirators for use in a bank fraud scheme. The in- dictment further alleges that Ms. Wynne also pho- tographed United States Passport applications that were processed at her post of-

fice location to gain appli- cants’ PII and bank account information. She then for- warded that information to co-conspirators as well.
In addition, the indictment charges her with using her position as a USPS employee to access and steal restricted postal arrow keys – special master keys that open USPS collection boxes, banks of mailboxes at apartment com- plexes, and any other mailbox keyed with an arrow lock. She then provided the postal arrow keys to co-conspirators for use in the charged con- spiracy, the indictment stated.
