A native of Inverness, Florida, Mother Pringley was a Tampa resident for the past 60 years. She was a faithful mem- ber of New Salem Primitive Bap- tist Church, where she served on the Mother Board. She also served as an encourager to the young women at Fruit of the Spirit Ministries.
Mother Pringley was a for- mer employee with Hillsborough County Public Schools Food Service Department.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, from 5 p. m. – 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends in the chapel from6p.m.–7p.m.

MR. JAMES EDWARD ‘SKEETER’ DEVLIN, SR.
Homegoing celebration for Mr. James Edward (“Skeeter”) Devlin, Sr., who passed away on August 18, 2016, will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12 Noon at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Pastor Ricardo Robinson, with Pastor Rodney Williams, offi- ciating, Eulogist.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Devlin, Sr. was pre- ceded in death by: his grand- parents, Ethel Douglas, Lacy Farmer, Roberta Jenkins, Hu- bert Jenkins and brother, Richard Farmer.
He leaves to cherish mem- ories of him with: his children, Marquis, Jeff, Joanna, James, Jr., Brian, Brandon, Corie, James, Renee, Jamecia, and Deaundre Devlin, all of Tampa; 17 grandchildren; mother, Mary Philon of Tampa; father, Fred Devlin of St. Augustine, FL; sisters, Veronica Battles (Kevin), Nicole Devlin and Sonja Devlin of St. Augustine, FL; brothers, Tyrone Devlin (Nicole) of Tampa, Kendrick Devlin (Sakeena) of Pensacola, FL and Cédric Allen of Tampa; aunts, Irene Farmer, Dorothy Gant of St. Augustine, Mae Frances Stacy, Betty Irvin of Tampa, Katherine Thomas of Clearwater, and Alberta Har- ris of Ft. Born in Daytona Beach, Florida, Mr. Devlin moved to Tampa, as a child and resided her until his demise. Mr. De- vlin was a devoted father and was deeply loved by many.

MR. CARLTON WILLIE GUNN ‘POONIE’

Carlton W. Gunn was pre- ceded in death by his mother, Betty Gunn, father, Willie Gunn and nephew, Tyrie Gunn.
Carlton is survived by: his lov- ing wife, Harolyn; daughter, Kysha Herald-Gunn; sons, Jar- rold and Andre; grandchildren, Andre Gunn, Jr. and Jackson Hernandez; siblings, Carl Gunn, Sr., Charles Gunn, Sr., Kenneth Gunn, Sr. (Iris) and Talisa (Dar- ryl) West; sister-in-law, Mercella (Thony) Oliver; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Lisa) and Alvin; nieces and nephews, Carl, Jr. (Mikiko), Vashawn (Katrina), Jarod, Charles, Jr. (Myshanda),

Carlton Willie Gunn was born in Tampa, on August 12, 1960 to parents, Willie Gunn, Sr. and Betty Gunn. Carlton attended T. R. Robinson High School where he excelled as a football star. Carl- ton’s football Jersey, #66 was re- tired. Each year a linebacker is chosen to receive the Carlton Gunn Linebacker Award in his honor. Carlton was a McDonald’s High School All-American that went on to play for the University of Tennessee and Carson New- man College. Carlton played foot- ball for the USFL Memphis Showboats, The Tampa Bay Buc- caneers and the New York Giants. Carlton was last employed as a legal assistant with Swope, Ro- dante P.A. and Vanguard Attor- neys LLC.

Mother Murvine Elizabeth Pringley passed away on Thurs- day, August 25, 2016. A celebra- tion of life service will be held on Saturday September 3, 2016 at 11 a. m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Avenue, Tampa, Pastor Isaac Lane officiating and Pastor Antonio Pringley of Fruit of the Spirit Ministries, Eulogist.
Interment will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2 p. m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mother Pringley was pre- ceded in death by her parents, Henry Greene, Sr. and Simmie Greene-Murphy; children, Patri- cia Pringley-Moore and Willie James Pringley Jr. (Ricky); 3 brothers, Henry Greene, Jr., Randy Greene and Ralph Mur- phy; 3 sisters, Alpha Greene- Merrick, Marjorie Greene and Betty Jo Murphy Denby.

MR. WILLIAM ‘SONNY’ STANDBERRY
Funeral service for Mr. William “Sonny” Standberry who passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2016 will be held on Saturday September 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Milton Brown, Pastor of Sandridge Bap- tist Church, Selma, Alabama, Of- ficiating and Pastor Lisa Johnson, Eulogist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Trudie and Willie Standberry; a sister, Dorothy Le Sure, and a brother, Raymond Standberry.
He leaves behind two daugh- ters, Valencia Gunn (Los Ange- les, CA) and Amberneshia (Donald) Bates (Tampa, FL), one son, Timothy Standberry (Brooklyn, NY); seven grandchil- dren; one sister, Patricia Stand- berry (Fort Myer, FL); one brother, Henry (Cindy) Stand- berry (Tampa, FL); ex-wives, Barbara Quaites, Margret Mosley; one aunt, Eloise Ventura (Fort Myers, FL); one uncle, Willie Watts (Tampa, FL) and a host of sorrowing cousins, nieces, nephews; a devoted friend Cathy, other relatives and friends.
William “Sonny” Standberry born September 9, 1947 in Dallas County, Selma AL. to the union of Trudie Watts and Willie Standberry. He was educated in the public school system of Dal- las County attending Emanuel Brown Training school and R. B. Hudson High school.
He marched with Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. in Selma demon- strating for the right to vote. He was one of the participants in the “Bloody Sunday” march on Sun- day March 7, 1965. Sonny was a tradesman by skill, worked as a longshoreman, and an entrepre- neur.
There will be a viewing on Saturday September 3, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to the service) at Wilson Funeral Home.
