MR. TILLMAN CARWISE, JR.
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Tillman Carwise, Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 will be held on Fri- day, August 5th, 12 p. m. at Victo- rious Life Church, 6224 Old Pasco Road, Wesley Chapel, FL, Pastor Ed and Janis Russo, with Minister Samuel Pointer, offici- ating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tillman Carwise, Sr., mother, Olivia Carwise, brother, Ulysses Carwise and sister, Elvira L. Smiley-Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Ber- nice Carwise; children, Regina J. Pointer (Samuel) and Timo- thy D. The visitation will be held on Friday, August 5th from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. at Victorious Life Church. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
MS. GLORIA G. GONZALEZ
Ms. Gloria G. Gonzalez was born on June 7, 1931 in Ybor City, Tampa, to Victoria Baez and Charlie Gomez.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Roberto, to whom she was married for 58 years; parents and her siblings, Mar- guertie, Carmelina, and Charlie Gomez, Jr.
Gloria was educated in the Hillsborough County School District. She attended Meacham Elementary School at Booker T. Washington, Junior High School and Middleton High School, graduating in the class of 1948.
Later in life she became a Li- censed Practical Nurse, retiring from Tampa General Hospital. Gloria loved to cook; always en- joyed entertaining and always gave out wonderful advice whether you asked for it or not. She encouraged everyone to further their education, be- cause she was not given the op- portunity; it was not available to her at her time.
She leaves to mourn: a de- voted daughter, Regina.
Gloria was a member of Sa- cred Heart Catholic Church and an associate member of Sacred Heart’s Council of Catholic Women.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 3,at9a.m.
Regina would like to thank Dr. Bergess, Dr. Casellas, and Dr. Sierra, who have been Glo- ria’s doctors for years and have been there throughout these last twelve years of her poor health.

MR. JAIRUS ERASTUS DOYLE
Mr. Jairus Erastus Doyle, 65, of Tampa, passed away on July 28th, 2016. He was a beloved fa- ther, grandfather, brother, nephew and uncle. Affection- ately known as “Bayro” and “Suga,” Jairus was born in Tampa and attended Hillsbor- ough County Schools. Jairus proudly served his country for 3 years in the NAVY and was hon- orably discharged in 1973.
Before retiring, Jairus was gainfully employed by the Phos- phate Mines in Bartow and by Jacks Cookie Company in Tampa.
Jairus was preceded in death by: parents, Elder John Doyle and Mrs. Dezell Young Doyle; brother, Barna Doyle; sisters, Etheline Jackson, Joanna Hunter, Ruth Brantley, and Priscilla Watson.
Jairus is survived by; sons, Antonio ( Terevia) Smith, Christopher Brown; brothers, John (Marlene) Doyle, Jr; Jus- tus Doyle, Titus Doyle; sisters, Barbara Franklin and Naomi Jones; grandchildren, Imani Givens, Tanaija Smith, Salija Smith, Arya Smith, and Antonio Smith II; aunts, Mary Lee McMillan, Clara James, Jessie Mae Bass; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving family members and friends.

MRS. CARMEN AUDREY BROWN JOHNSON
Mrs. Carmen Audrey Brown Johnson, a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 of natural causes. The service of celebration for her life will be held, Friday, August 5, at 10 a. m. at Bethel Church, 1510 W. Hillsborough Avenue, with Pastor Don Grantham, officiat- ing, and Pastor Walter Jennings, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Carmen was a native of Tampa and demonstrated an ad- mirable measure of commitment to her family roots in the Bel- mont Heights community. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Chamber- lain High School. Carmen fur- thered her education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she met her husband of nearly 40 years. Carmen and her husband were founding members of the Cen- tral City YMCA.
She faithfully served on the advisory board of the Tampa Heights Redevelopment Com- mission. For 27 years she coached young athletes, as part of Christian Cruisers Track and Field Ministry.
She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, Willard and Alma Jean Brown; loving aunt and uncle, Eddie and Zelma Young.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Samuel Nathaniel Johnson; 3 children, Sanatera Isaac (Charles Isaac), Marqus Johnson, and Garrett Johnson (Candace Johnson); grandchil- dren, Jamari Johnson, Machelle Mullins, Charles Isaac, Jr., Térra Johnson, Akari Isaac, San Tanyo Isaac, De’veon Johnson, Taylor Johnson, and Lawrence Johnson; sisters, Belinda Strawder (Arthur Strawder) and Winton Brown; uncle and aunt, Edward and Frances Jennings; nephews, LaDell Andrews and Linton Strawder; and many more loving family members, friends, and members of the community.

MR. CLIFFORD GROOMS
Mr. Clifford Grooms, born September 3, 1951, to the late Walter Lee and Emma Lee Grooms, was called home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2016. He accepted Christ and was a Christ follower. He attended church on a regular basis.
A native of Cuthbert, Geor- gia, he was employed as a sales- man early in his life.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Hands of God Ministries, 2918 E. 27th Ave., at 11 a. m.
