TBYFL Junior Buccaneers Move To Police Athletic League Of Tampa
 The Junior Buccaneers of Tampa Bay Youth Football League (TBYFL) have moved its program to the Police Ath- letic League Facility, located at 1924 W. Diana Street, Tampa, FL 33604.
This collaboration will provide the opportunity for youth from the Junior Bucca-
neers to engage with Tampa Police Department in several areas, including football and cheerleading, community en- gagement, mentorship and volunteerism.
Registration for Fall Foot- ball and Cheerleading began Saturday, February 24, 2018, 10a.m.-2p.m.atthePAL

      Tampa Bay Tech Girls’ Team Headed To First State Game
 GH Tampa Bay Tech
The Tampa Bay Tech Girls varsity basketball team has a playoff game vs. Nova (Davie, FL) on Friday, March 2 @ 4p in Lakeland.
Last Friday night (Feb. 23rd), Tampa Bay Tech Girls team was able to hold on to win the Class 8A region title, 55-52, and claim the first state final-four opportunity in school history.
The Titans were able to hold on after a tough Gulf Coast team rallied from being down in the first half to losing
by 3.

augural trip to Lakeland on Friday, March 2nd.
Going into Friday night’s game both teams had 25 wins. Tech had lost 3 games and Gulf Coast, 2.
Head coach, Reggie Lawrence, who was headed out of town after Friday night’s game, said he’s glad to be tak- ing his girls to Lakeland for the first time. “We’ve worked re- ally hard for this. We’ll work hard in practice this week and we’re going to keep playing our game,” he said.

Host ‘Black Panther’
Viewing For Students
Last Saturday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback, Jameis Winston treated more than 100 students with the opportunity to see the movie, “Black Panther.” The students joined him for a private viewing at AMC Vet- erans 24 theatre.
“Black Panther” is a story about the king of the fic- tional African nation of Wakanda, the most techno- logically advanced county on earth.
The students all attend Legacy Preparatory Academy. Winston recognized the stu- dents for their 2017 ranking asoneofthetop10%ofallK- 8 schools in the state. The school also offers a perform- ing arts program for the stu- dents.
In addition to the students from Legacy Preparatory Academy, several members of Men of Vision were invited to the viewing as well.

wanted to inspire and reward the deserving students of the school. He is one of several celebrities who have accepted social media’s #BlackPan- therChallenge. The #Black- PantherChallenge was started to allow young people the op- portunity to see one of Mar- vel’s most anticipated films at no cost to them.
The mission of Dream Forever is to impact the lives of financially disadvantaged children and youth through encouragement, opportuni- ties, and resources to develop and achieve their dreams.
