  To Undergo
Surgery
The Cleveland Cavaliers lost Sunday’s home matchup with the Spurs, 110-94, and LeBron James was notice- ably frustrated with the game’s officiating.
James took just four free-throw attempts in the loss. After the game, he sounded off about the free- throw disparity, saying that the league is protecting shooters more than drivers.
The Spurs had 32 at- tempts from the free-throw
  JIMMY BUTLER
Jimmy Butler’s absence from the Minnesota Timber- wolves with a right knee injury may not be prolonged.
Butler is expected to un- dergo surgery on his right knee in the coming days. He then re- portedly could return in four to six weeks.
Butler exited Friday’s game with a right knee injury on a non-contact play late in the third quarter. He under- went an MRI on Saturday that showed a meniscus injury, but luckily his ACL was not torn, which would be a much more severe injury.
A four to six week timetable for a return means Butler might be able to return right at the end of the regular season, or perhaps the playoffs.
Kyrie Irving Thinks NBA Needs To Address Zaza Pachulia
KYRIE IRVING AND ZAZA PACHULIA
In a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, Golden State Warriors center, Zaza Pachulia, again became the subject of controversy after he appeared to intentionally fall on the legs of Thunder super- star Russell Westbrook.
Reacting to a video of the play on Instagram, Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving commented that the NBA needed to address Pachulia after this latest incident.
“The league has to take a look at this man,” Irving wrote. “That s— is ridiculous.”
For his part, Pachulia scoffed at claims of him being a dirty player despite many, in- cluding Westbrook, saying just that after Friday’s game. The veteran big man’s history over the years more than speaks for itself though, and there re- ally seems to be no reason to offer him the benefit of the doubt anymore.

Tiger Woods Ties For 12th At Honda Classic
    Isaiah Thomas Thinks
Tiger Woods will always be linked to Jack Nicklaus, for better and worse. And while his performance at the Honda Classic will undoubt- edly be viewed as a positive step in his comeback, he can point to the Golden Bear as the reason perhaps it was not better.
Woods shot a final-round 70 at PGA National on Sun- day to tie for 12th in just his third tournament this year following spinal fusion sur- gery in April.
But it was the so-called "Bear Trap'' that ultimately kept him from being a true contender.

Thomas -- and he was 8 over par on the three-hole stretch (12 holes total) on the back nine redesigned by Nickalus years ago.
"I had a shot at it; I was right there,'' said Woods, who had his best finish since a tie for 10th at the 2015 Wyn- dham Championship. "Unfor- tunately I didn't play the last few holes well the last couple days. Might have been a dif- ferent outcome.''
Cavs Were In ‘Panic Mode’
When Trading Him
Isaiah Thomas cer- tainly felt that the Cleveland Cavaliers were panicking when they made the moves they did ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
Thomas told E:60 in an upcoming interview that the moves Cleveland made at the deadline were down to panic.
“I didn’t think they would pull the trigger that fast, 15 games,” Thomas said. “But again, it’s a business. And the Cavs were, I mean, they were in panic mode. We were los- ing — a lot. And I think they felt like they needed to make a move, and they, they basi- cally cleared house.”
Thomas felt that he was given a tough job joining Cleveland at midseason after a long injury layoff with the expectation of contributing.
“It was a tough situation I was being put in,” Thomas said. “It was — it was differ-

“People don’t put in there that we had eight or nine new players. So it was basically a brand new team. ... I’m in a new system. New team, new coach, new players. And then I’ve been off for seven months. So I got to get — in- dividually, I got to for the most part get my rhythm back, get my timing back.
