WILSON
MR. MICHAEL L. BERRY
Funeral Services for Mr. Michael L. Berry, who passed on October 14, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Dr. Benjamin Curry, Pastor with Minister Antonio Gunn, Officiating/Eulogist. In- terment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Michael (Big Mike) Berry was born on January 31, 1956, in Tampa, FL, to the parentage of (Ret. U. S. Army Major) Fred Berry, Sr., and Sarah D. Lowe Berry. Michael Berry attended the local schools in Hillsbor- ough County. He was employed as a plumber at Roto-Rooter Plumbing Company for 10 years prior to becoming self-em- ployed.
Big Mike had an unselfish spirit and would help anybody at any time. He never met a stranger and he always had a smile. Mike loved the Lord, en- joyed going to church, cooking and going out to eat. He loved eating seafood with his devoted daughter, Delores Berry and grandchildren, Anaya Tyson and
   Alloysius Tyson.
He was preceded in his
home going by: both parents, Fred and Sarah Berry; grand- parents, Ivy Lee Lowe, Freddie and Mary Rawls; great grand- parents, Charlie and Sarah Thompson; brother, Fred Berry, Jr., and stepchildren, Mary Bush and Willie Bush.
Left to rejoice his homegoing are: 1 loving and devoted daugh- ter, Delores Berry; other daugh- ters, Karen Jordan, Crystal West and Destiny Charles; grandchildren, Anaya Tyson, Al- loysius Tyson, Janari Gaynor, Antwannia Slater, Anutwanisha Slater, Antonio Slater, Paige Garvin, Payton Garvin, Parnell Garvin, Desiree Jordan, Que’Darius Williams, JaQuez Jordan, David Brown, Daveon Brown and Sha’leish Brown; brother, Mitchell Berry (Erica); sister, Cathleen Berry; a very de- voted and loving cousin, Cynthia Berry; goddaughter, Shan John- son-McRae; devoted friends in- cluding, Patricia Gilbert (his child’s mother), Frances Baker and family, Merrell Freeman, James Kelly, Jr, Cynthia Williams, Kelly Doby, Lori Jor- dan, Danny, Alicia (neighbor); a host of other family and friends.
It would cause enormous lament to Mike’s heart to miss naming any person however, space is inadequate to name every family member and friend whose life he touched.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home.

MR. ROBERT LEE JOHNS, III
Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Lee “Poppa Smurf” Johns, III, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away in a local hos- pital will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Greater Friendship Mission- ary Baptist Church, 3325 E. Emma Street, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Ronnie L. Murray, Sr., with the Supt. Terrance Reaves, Sr., of New Day Covenant Life Church, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Robert Johns, III, was born in Tampa, Florida, on July 28, 1980, to the parentage of Robert Johns, Jr., and Leslie Johns. Mr. Johns graduated from Chamberlain High School. He was a former employee of Old Castle Glass Company and a former employee of M & B Dairy.
Robert was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Jim- mie C. Floyd, Sr., and Lillian Floyd, Robert Lee Johns Sr., Ann Drayton and Rev. Chester Drayton; brother, Garrett Johns; uncles, Earl Floyd and Jimmie Floyd, Jr., and cousin, Keyon Floyd.
He leaves to cherish fond memories with: Daddy’s girl, Iyoni Johns; Daddy’s boys, Iy- once and Izaiah Johns; his chil- dren’s mother and fiancé, Christina Coleman; his loving, devoted, mother whom he told
