NFL MVP Lawyers-Up To Keep Sex Tape Private
Derrick Rose Sues Accuser To Pay $70K In Court Cost

backer Von Miller is doing everything in his power to keep a sex tape that features him off the Internet.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP had his lawyers issue a restraining order barring Elizabeth Ruiz from sell- ing or commercially exploit- ing the tape that she recorded on her cell phone. She tried to extort $2.5 mil- lion from Von in exchange for the tape.
In the court documents, the 27-year-old NFL star is listed as “Doe,” but TSG confirmed it’s Von as he is
In October, New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose and two friends were found not liable in a sexual assault case. Now Rose wants the rape accuser to cover some $70,000 in court costs.
According to the New York Daily News, Rose and his fellow defendants, Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen, believe that they are “enti- tled” to “expenses they neces- sarily incurred in defending themselves against ... false claims” that they drugged and raped the woman in 2013.
In his motion, which was filed Nov. 5, Rose also claims that the accuser’s “aggressive pursuit of false claims ... [has] taken an enormous, costly and irreparable toll on [him] and his public image and rep- utation.”
Rose is seeking $70,917.16 from his accuser to cover trial costs, including witness fees,

Von met Elizabeth while vacationing in Cancun with friends, including reality star Malika Haqq back in June. The two “engaged in consen- sual sexual intercourse” and Elizabeth recorded their sex session on her phone, ac- cording to legal documents.

In 2015, when Rose was still playing for the Chicago Bulls, the woman claimed that Rose and two friends broke into her apartment and raped her while she was passed out drunk. Rose, Hampton and Allen all ad- mitted to having sex with the woman, whose name has not been released, but main- tained that the sex was con- sensual.
Floyd Mayweather Sick Of Conor McGregor Comparisons: ‘An Elephant Don't Beef With Ants'
Floyd Mayweather
fired the latest salvo in
the ongoing and increas- ingly wearisome rivalry between he and Conor McGregor on last Tues- day, as the controversial boxing legend took um- brage with comparisons being made between the
two fighters in the wake
of McGregor's historic second-round victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.
"I didn't know Conor Mc- Gregor was undefeated," Mayweather told TMZ. "I didn't know that he had a reign in MMA for 20 years
of the MMA. If you're say- ing he's the Floyd May- weather of the MMA, I'm trying to find out: have you ever made $300 million in one night? Have you ever made $100 million in one night? Have you ever made $70 million in one night?
"So, as far as trying to say that he's the Floyd Mayweather of the MMA
-- I mean, it's okay just to say it, but it's not true."
McGregor's financial suc- cess pales in comparison to Mayweather. The undis- puted box-office king, May- weather crossed the million-buy threshold eight different times over the course of his pay-per-view ca- reer, punctuated by the mas- sive 4.6 million buyrate he totaled for his 2015 show- down against Manny Pac- quiao.
So even though May- weather and McGregor have seemingly gone out of their way at times to keep their names linked, the 39- year-old retired boxer is sick of hearing comparisons be- tween himself and the popu- lar Irishman.
"I'm a legend, a living leg- end," Mayweather said. "To the sport of boxing, I gave years and years of hard work. It was blood, sweat, and tears. I had a tremendous team, I had a tremendous run. I think that it's time for Conor Mc- Gregor to go out there and do what he do, but never com- pare Conor McGregor to me. That's a total disrespect. Once again, I'm an elephant. An elephant don't beef with ants. An elephant is so large, he don't even see ants."

In a classy, introspective speech to the Dallas media that at times felt like it might be headed toward a shock re- tirement announcement, de- posed Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo offered a re- vealing glimpse into his foot- ball soul while discussing the anguish his injury caused and the mixed feelings he's had about the rise of Dak Prescott.
Romo offered full, unwa- vering support of the decision for Prescott to remain the starting quarterback and said he's reminded himself that he was once in Prescott's shoes, when he replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe and never gave back the job.
Romo started his talk with brutal honestly:
To say the first half of the season has been emotional would be a huge understate- ment. Getting hurt when you feel you have the best team

you’ve ever had was a soul- crushing moment to me.
He later spoke of guilt for letting everybody down, the difficulties of hearing his livelihood discussed in the press and the idea that foot- ball's a meritocracy, some- thing that seems to have helped him cope with the rise of Prescott.
[Prescott has] earned the right to be our quarterback. Ashardasthatisformeto say, he’s earned that right. He’s guided our team to an 8- 1 record, and that’s hard to do.
