HW OLDHAM
MR. WILLIAM ELGIN POWELL
Mr. William Elgin Powell, the eldest, beloved son of William D. and Diane L. Powell, was called by our Savior to the eternal resting place on August 11, 2020.
Elgin is survived by: his three children, Jasmine Flem- ing, Kayson L. Powell and Dveigh W. Powell, of Salt Lake City Utah; his parents and three siblings, Tawana (Joe) Huff, Cherron Ragins and Lemar E. Powell of Tampa, FL.
He was born at Dover AFB, Delaware on February 4, 1978 as his father is a USAF military re- tiree, which brought him to the Tampa Bay area. He is loved by many and is known for practical jokes and always tried to make everyone laugh or smile.
He later became a member of the U. S. Army, in which he served honorably in the United States and Korea. After separat- ing from the military, he would work several jobs, but one most noted, was as a Youth Counselor for at- risk kids and teenagers in Utah.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HW OLD- HAM Funeral Home of Lake- land, FL, and will be held, Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11 a. m.
A viewing will also be held on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30–7p.m.attheNewSalem Primitive Baptist Church, at 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa FL, 33602.

faith member and minister at The Cathedral of Faith Church and Faith Outreach Center, where she also received her Master’s in The- ology. She opened a Prison Min- istry, served at USF”s football team’s Chaplain, as well as at- tended several mission trips to places domestically and interna- tionally.
Clintine founded The City of Judah Worship Center in 2005, in her home with 8 members and it grew to over 100 members. She also operated a feeding ministry that provided food to over a hun- dred people weekly. She was later appointed to Apostle. As a Pastor, she took pride in caring for, teach- ing and mentoring others. She fully funded a ministry in Haiti, where she provided the children with clothes and essential items.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Clinton Murvin, Sr.; her mother, Elizabeth Langston; brothers, Charles and Calvin; and sister, Susan.
She leaves to cherish: a loving and dedicated son, Lance Paul; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Adri- anna and Laila; a very devoted stepfather, Elder Charles Langston; brothers, Elder Clinton Murvin, (Jackie), Hakim Rasheed, Pastor Cornelius Murvin, (Annie), and Kevin Murvin; sisters, Charlene Cham- bers, Constance Stewart, Linda Watkins, Nancy Murvin, and Shaniqua Jordon (Pastor Boddy), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins godchildren, and special friends.
A viewing will be held Sunday, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. before the service. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 2:15 p.m.

MR. JAMES HOWARD
Mr. James Howard of Tampa passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 22nd at 2 p. m., at The Center for Manifes- tation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guide- lines. Masks are required.
Mr. James Howard was a na- tive of Bronx, New York, and a resident of Tampa for 60 years. He was employed as a Stock Clerk with Publix Supermarket.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Joyce Howard.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his children, Ziekisha Howard, Edward Howard, QuanKeisha Howard (Jeffrey), DeAndre Howard, JayQuan Grice, Denisha Howard (Tyrell) and JaQuavis Howard (Jamia); 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; father, Naheem Muhammad; 8 siblings, Frankie Hudson, Tacuma Rodgers, Emel Howard, Belewa Muhammad, Joshua Muhammad, Denise Howard, Faitha Howard and Sabreen Gilbert; a host of nieces and nephews; special niece, Za- kiyya Howard; special friends, Lisa Grice, Shirley George, “Big Mike Denson,” Ced, Jimmy Woods, and “Tall Head;” special friends and co-workers of Publix Supermarket; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 3-7 p. m., Friday, August 21, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. We are ask- ing family and friends to follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.

          APOSTLE CLINTINE ELIZABETH MURVIN
A Homegoing Celebration will be held for Apostle Clintine Eliza- beth Murvin. On the evening of Wednesday, August 13, 2020, Apostle Murvin peacefully began her homegoing journey.
Bereavement Services will be held at the Center of Manifesta- tion, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33610, on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. Apostle Sadal- lie Cole, officiating. Interment, Or- ange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
Clintine was born April 24, 1957, in Winter Haven, FL. She was a native of Polk and Hillsbor- ough Counties, although she spent her early years in Fairfax, SC, liv- ing with paternal grandmother.
Clintine moved to Tampa, where she first attended Robinson High School and graduated from Chamberlain High School.
She was employed by anheuser Busch for 42+ years as an Area Manager before she retired. At Busch Gardens, she created the Company’s first in-house Chris- tian devotion group. She was a

Mr. James Phillips of Tampa passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 22nd, at 11 a. m., at Ray Williams Memo- rial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Reverend J. D. Singletary, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. James Phillips was a na- tive of Samson, Alabama, and a resident of Tampa for 50 years. He was a graduate of EJ Lewis High School and was a member of New Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Mr. Phillips retired from Hillsborough County as an Equipment Operator II.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, John M. Reed and Annie Phillips-Bowens; daughter, Tammy Smith; son, Carl Dennard and brother, Gregory Phillips.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: two sons, Michael Smith (Van) and James Phillips, Jr. (Jalaie); two daughters, Carla Dennard (Nick) and Tracey Den- nard; five grandsons, Michael Sr., Travis, Darius, Jason and James, III; six granddaughters, Jessica, Alicia, Kim, Keona, Janiyah and Jakiyah; 11 great grandchildren; five brothers, Monte Bowens (Charlene), Darrell Phillips (Kenia), Ronnie Phillips (Veleta), Donnie Phillips and John Reed; four sisters, Carla Smith (Ster- ling), Elizabeth Smith, Belinda Bunda (Carlton) and Tracy Lee; best friend, Chuck Singletary; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other rela- tives and friends.
