SERENE OASIS
MR. JERMON DAVIS
Jermon “Jay” Davis was born April 27, 1996, in Tallahassee, Florida, to the parentage of Donna Wright and Jermon Davis. He passed away August 9, 2020.
He was a member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks.
Jermon attended public schools in Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Bowers & Whitley Career Center. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Mr. Davis enjoyed raising and taking care of his one and only beautiful daughter, Journey Davis.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories with: his mother, Donna Wright; stepfather, An- thony Wright; father, Jermon Davis; grandparents, Conniemae Carter, Albert and Jenethyl Davis; daughter, Journey Davis; sisters, Jermeca Teel, Jermonica Davis, Jermera Davis, Jermira Davis, Jermecia Davis, Shlonda Rowe, Sharell Miller, Lamyjah Baldwin, Yari Gilyard, Shantel Buie, and Jandi Merrell; brothers, Tyrone Weatherspoon, Christopher Payne, Vanel Baldwin, Kurtis Den- nis, and Kieonte Watts; nieces, Tiyana Teel, London Tucker, and Sha’Terryia Johnson; nephews, Jakari Jackson, Tristen Teel, and Malik Davis, Bernard Brinson, Dal’Shawn Robinson, JarTavious Miller, Jaceon Reddick, Sean Robinson, Qa’Sean Robinson, and Tre’Sean Robinson; aunts, Annie Pearl Reddick, Verdell Sampson, Linda Jackson, Eunice Straughter, Jean Davis, Betty J. Viewing will take place on Fri- day, August 21, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the services will take place at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Au- gust 22, 2020. Both will take place at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 E. Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605.

MRS. GENEVA JACKSON
A private celebration of life service will be held for Mrs. Geneva Jackson, who passed on August 9, 2020.
Geneva Jackson was born Au- gust 18, 1918, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Edward Curtis and Sally Curtis. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School system.
Mrs. Jackson’s father moved his family to Sun City, FL, in the early twenties. Later she met and married her husband, Slaton Jackson, and to this union four children were born, Lee Burnus, Ivory, Willie Lee and Angeline.
Mrs. Jackson and her chil- dren moved to Tampa in 1959, where she became a member of Morning Star M.B. Church. Later she joined Oak Hill M.B. Church, where she attended until her health began to fail.
Never one to meet a stranger, Mrs. Jackson loved her Jackson Heights community where she lived for more than 60 years. Al- ways there to help those in need, Mrs. Jackson often spearheaded community support to provide food and floral arrangements for bereaved families.
She was an avid supporter for
the American Cancer Society and The Lighthouse for the Blind charities.
Following in her family’s legacy, Mrs. Jackson was a mem- ber of the Universal Masonic Scottish Rite- Order of the East- ern Star- Chapter #6.
Preceding Mrs. Jackson in death were: her husband, Slaton Jackson; 3 sons, Lee Burnus Jackson, Ivory Jackson and Willie Lee Jackson; grandson, Danny Jackson; and son-in law, Willie D. Ousley, Sr.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by: her loving and devoted daughter, Angeline Ousley, Thonotosassa; 7 grandchildren, Sharon Robin- son, Palmetto, Michelle Murray, Rubonia, Jennifer (Kennith) Donaldson, Thonotosassa, Melody Ousley, Thonotosassa, Zelda (Vernon) Morgan, Tampa, Willie D. (LaTonya) Ousley, Jr., Thonotosassa, and Casey; and many great-great grandchildren.
Affectionately known as “Aunt Jenny,” to 4 nieces, Ruth Fobbs, Palmetto, Laura (Benny) Phillips, Tampa, Ovedia Wilburn, Tampa, and Betty Howard, At- lanta, GA; and 3 nephews: Arthur Randolph, Tampa, Lewis (Robin) Moreland, Bradenton, and Author (Lorraine) Davis, Ft. Myers.
She will also be missed by a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly including her extended family and friends from The Home As- sociation.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Due to the current CDC re- strictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportu- nity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

    MR. RONALD F. WILLIAMS
Mr. Ronald F. Williams of Tampa passed away Monday, Au- gust 10, 2020.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 22nd, at 2 p. m., at New Salem Primitive Bap- tist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Av- enue, Pastor Donnell Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Ronald F. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1968, where he was a star quarterback for the football team and pitcher for the baseball team.
Mr. Williams enlisted into the United States Army, where he served his country for 8 years as a Military Policeman. After his Hon- orable Discharge, he began his sec- ond career as a Manager with NAPA Auto Parts, where he served his community for 30 years, prior to his failing health. Mr. Williams also served his community as a volunteer Football Coach and eventually Football Commissioner of the West Tampa Spartans for over 20 years. Mr. Ronald F. Williams will be remembered as a “Mentor and Father Figure” to many in the Tampa Community.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. Willie James Mc- Neil and Ms. Frankie Jones; sister, Elaine Hicks; and brothers-in-law, Eddie Joe Shellman and Freddie Shellman.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: a loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Cynthia L. Williams; chil- dren, Roland (Emma), Rhonda (Chauncey), Roxanne, Tameka (Raymond), Dion (Phelan), and Ronnie (Michelle); grandchildren, Alyssa, Roland, Jr., Niya, Ramon, Jr. “ScootiePoot” (Brenna), DeAn- dre (Brianna), Aria (Martel), Ariel (Nick), Marchalo, II, Manny, Sophia, Terrance (Ileana), Tanknekia (Charles), Eboni, Chris, Alexis (Ron), Eboni, Dontae (Nadia), Derek (Tavia), Damian, and Mariah; a host of great grand- children; siblings, Jacqueline, Kimberly (Maurice), Doyle, Patsy, and Cephus; sisters-in-law, Valerie and Michelle (Ralph); brother-in- law, Frank, III (Jackie); aunts, Bernice, and Lodie (A.
