   AIKENS
MR. ALBERT SAMS (‘WAMMIE’)
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Albert Lee Sams, “Wammie,” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 10 a. m., at New Salem P. B. Church, 1605 N. Ne- braska Ave., Rev. B. Curry, pas- tor, officiating, with Rev. Antonio Hawkins, eulogist. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea St.
Albert Lee Sams was born November 4, 1958, in Tampa, Florida.
Albert was dearly loved by those who preceded him in death: his father, Larger Sams, Sr.; sisters, Gloria Sams Mickens and Brenda Sams; and his nephew, James Sams, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: one son, Albert S. Sams (Nakisha); two daughters, Tiffany Sams (Migo) and Nya Sams (Sam); four granddaugh- ters, Rozasha and Roshonna Bor- ders, Alexis Sams and Samya James; one grandson, Tymius Jenkins; one great grandson, Nasir Puryear; mother, Josephine Sams; five brothers, Larger Sams, Jr. (Barbara), James Sams, Robert Sams (Joyce), Alphonso Sams (Carol) and Lonnie Sams; two sisters, JoAnn Sams and Aretha Sams; four aunts, Mary, Nancy and Mable Gould and Doretha Pen- der; mothers of his children, Ver- nita Woods and Gail Thompson; longtime friend, Carol Chapman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 21st from 5-7 p. m. The family and friends will meet on Saturday for the service. We are following CDC Guidelines.

DEMARIO ANTWAN FAISON (‘SUPER MARIO RELOADED’)
DeMario was known by his family as Maryo, his mother’s first born son and only child of his father. He lived his life to the fullest loving his family and friends, laughing, making money, staying sharp looking good and having fun!
He attended Hillsborough County Public Schools. He was brought in the church where he attended, St. Matthew M. B. Church, where Pastor W. D. Sims is Pastor. DeMario became very ill and it progressed quickly, but during this time he rededi- cated his life to Christ Jesus then on August 10, 2020 he sat with his mother and father at his bed- side, prayed the Repentance Prayer and that night God wel- comed him on home to Glory!
DeMario will be welcomed in Glory being precede in death by: his maternal great- grand- mother, Thracie Quartlebaum; paternal grandmother, Rosa Lee Faison; maternal great- grand- mother, Fannie Singletary; uncle, Joeel Sneed; maternal great- grandfather, Joeel Sneed; maternal great- grandfather, Willie Singletary; aunt, Barbara Williams, aunt, Beverly; uncle, Thomas Quarterlebaum, uncle, Clemmie Lee; paternal great- grandmother, Sarah Mitchell; aunt, Lois Smith; and uncle, Nate Singletary Jr. D e - Mario leaves to mourn and to cherish his memories: his grand- mother, Dorothy Sneed; his mother, Sharon Johnson; his fa- ther, Reginald Faison; grandfa- ther, Willie Faison; brother, Willie Brantley; sister, Keivouna; and best friend/ sis- ter, Ariane Johnson; 3 nieces, London Watson, Armani Brant- ley and Ryleigh Watson; nephew, DeBari Brantley; aunts, Twanda Murphy (David), Karen Faison (Deatrick), Shawndra Faison (Dave), Tamara Faison,

There’s a host of special friends like EJ and Jonathan I’d like to also mention because they loved him dearly and have been in his like from a teenager, especially EJ.
Special thanks to my Pastor and cousin, Corey Singletary and wife, Pastor Ciara Singletary for their love, support and many, many prayers for DeMario and for me through all of this time of his sickness and now! For his service in this Memorial Cele- bration from his heart as family first and a true man of God! I love you and Ciara so much and The Altar Worship Center! My Sponsor, Miss Barbara, my Sponsee, Sister Valencia, my Sponsees, Jamenia and Nadina, my friend, Tonya Bell and An- gela Jackson, as well as Marilyn Guess! I love and appreciate you all! As well as all the many phone calls, FB comments, texts and prayers. My heart is over- whelmed with love showered onto me and my family.
