In Theaters Friday:
Black Panther Soundtrack Is Heading To #1 On Billboard Charts
Black Panther: The Album is heading for a No. 1 debut on next week’s Billboard 200 albums chart, according to industry forecasters.
Those in the know suggest the soundtrack, which was re- leased on Feb. 9 via Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope Records, could launch with over 100,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Feb. 15. The album features music from and inspired by the new Mar- vel Studios film Black Pan- ther, which opens in theaters on Feb. 16.

album with Top Dawg Enter- tainment’s Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith — along with tunes by The Weeknd, SZA, Khalid and James Blake, among others.
For someone who claims to not want any more drama in her life, Mary J. Blige’s new role sounds awfully dramatic.
The Oscar nominee is join- ing the cast of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, an adap- tation of Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s series of graphic novels about the “estranged members of a dysfunctional family of superheroes.” The super-powered siblings must come together to solve their father’s murder, all the while

“coming apart at the seams due to their divergent person- alities and abilities.” (You know, normal family stuff.)
Blige is filling the series- regular role of Cha-Cha, a “ruthless and unorthodox hit- woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets.” Known far and wide for her sadistic, sociopathic tenden- cies, Cha-Cha believes only in torture and pain — and cares only for her partner Hazel.
Martin Lawrence and Carl Payne, who played ‘Cole’ on the show were spot- ted together recently. Earlier this month rumors of a reboot were sparked when Martin’s fiancee alluded to a reunion on social media.
Martin, Tisha Campbell (Gina) and Tichina Arnold (Pam), all but confirmed the news when the trio had dinner together, after a long and tu- multuous separation.
Martin aired for 5 seasons on Fox, and is in constant rerun rotation since 1997.

Judge In Kodak Black Case Removed After Comments
Kodak Black and his legal team are hoping to catch a break, after controversial comments a judge made shortly before sending the rapper to jail.
On January 18, Kodak Black's plush house in Pem- broke Pines was raided, and the rapper was hit with seven felony charges after cops found guns and marijuana in the residence.
On January 19, Judge Joel Lazarus ordered Kodak to be held with no bond, just minutes after he made the controversial comments.

According to reports, a
Broward County Chief Judge has barred Judge Lazarus from presiding over first ap- pearance court and the crimi- nal court over the statements.
Kodak and his lawyers are considering their legal op- tions, which could see the rap- per released from jail as he awaits trial for his latest charges.
As for the house, Kodak was renting it and the one- year lease has expired and the landlord was very pleased, since the rapper damaged the home, in addition to having the property raided.
