       MS. JUSILL (IVY) McKENZIE
Memorial Services for Ms. Jusill (Ivy) McKenzie, 97, a resident of Seffner, will be held at 1 p. m., Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 705 S. Taylor Rd., Seffner, 33584.
Ms. McKenzie passed away peacefully Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Tampa General Hospital, in Tampa.
Jusill McKenzie was born, the daughter of Wilfred Powell and Victoria Montique, on September 28, 1920, in Barnes De Oriente, Cuba.
Jusill moved to the island of Jamaica at an early age and was educated at Garlogie Pri- mary in Manchester, JA.
Ms. McKenzie, excelled in Bible studies and earned cer- tificates which allowed her the privilege to instruct and over- see Bible classes.
She came to the U. S. in her younger years, and began her medical career of over 4 decades, enjoyed extensive travels and wedded the late James Thomas McKenzie, Sr.
Ms. McKenzie was bap- tized as one of Jehovah’s Wit- nesses and an active member for 60 plus years and served faithfully at 705 S. Taylor Rd., until her demise.
She was an accomplished professional seamstress, fos- ter mother and devout Chris- tian servant.
She leaves to mourn: 5 de- voted children, Norman (Agatha) Jones, Valrico, Fitzroy Brown, Clermont, FL, Gloria (David) McCleary, Seffner, James Thomas McKenzie, Jr., and David (Sandy) McKenzie, both of Springfield, MA; 27 loving grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great, great grandchildren; 1 brother, Basil Powell, Seffner; 1 sister, Weaver Broomfield, Winches- ter, Eng.; a devoted niece, Dor- rell (Orlando) Williams of Springfield, MA; loving daugh- ter-in-law, Eva Brown, Geor- gia; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, long time close friends, and a devoted church family.
In addition to her parents, Ms. McKenzie was preceded in death by: 2 granddaughters, 2 sisters; and 2 brothers-in- laws.
Repast will be held imme- diately after the Memorial Services at: Feather Rock M. H. Center, 2200 Hwy 60, Brandon, FL.

Homegoing Service for Cedrick Erica Walker will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 10 a. m. at Brown Memorial Church of God in Christ, 2313 E. 27th Avenue, Tampa, FL (33605).
The viewing for the family will be from 5-6 p. m., and friends 6-8 p. m. Friday, Febru- ary 16th, at Brown Memorial COGIC.
Repast: Saturday, Feb. 17th from 2-5 p. m. at Rowlett Park.
