RAY WILLIAMS
MRS. FLORENCE JUANITA SAILS
Mrs. Florence Juanita Sails of Tampa passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 27 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, Reverend Rayford Harper, Pastor, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Florence Juanita Sails was the daughter of the late Mr. Amos Scott, Sr. and Mrs. Christine Scott, born in Tampa, Florida. She was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1945 and was a de- voted member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa for 76 years, where she served in the Choir. Mrs. Sails was also a mem- ber of the Lily White Lodge. Her name is permanently inscribed upon The Southern Poverty Law Center Wall of Intolerance in Montgomery, Alabama as a fighter against hatred and intolerance in America.
She was preceded in death by: her husband of 43 years, Odell Sails, Sr.; her father, Mr. Amos Scott, Sr.; mother, Mrs. Christine Scott; daughter, Cynthia Mc- Corkle; and son, Jerry Sails, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: 4 sons, Odell Sails, Jr. (Christine), Frederick Sails (Sharon), Michael Sails, Sr. (Eliz- abeth) and Nathaniel Sails (Kim- berly); 3 daughters, Willie Mae Gregg, Darlene McCray (Curtiss) and Michelle Jones (Timothy); son-in-law, Lewis McCorkle, Sr. of Oakland, CA; daughter-in-law, Sherea Sails of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Felicia Sails, Odell Sails, III, Lewis McCorkle, Jr., Shomba McCorkle, Jonathan Mc- Corkle, Jerry Sails, Jr., Jermaine Sails, Natasha Sails, Jamal Sails, Jevante Sails, Angela Sails, Dennet Sails, Dwayne Sails, Devon Gregg, Myran Sails, Mia Sails, Michael Sails, Jr., Shemeka Ward, Star- leana McCray, Juleesa Bell, Dezarae Sails, Shae Grant, Ter- rance Hill, Boris Davis, Jr. and Destiny Jones; a host of great- grandchildren and great- great- grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cora Archie and Josephine Royal; 2 brothers, John Henry Scott (Von- cile) and Bernard Scott (Ana); 3 sisters-in-law, Rose Sails, Rosa Scott and Aretha Scott; special granddaughter, Dennet Sails; spe- cial great- nephew, Leonard Lime- house, Jr.; a special family, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Garcia; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, July 26th, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. CLIFFORD SMITH
Mr. Clifford Smith, 74, of Tampa, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 P. M. at ACOJ-The Lord’s House Ministries, 2708 E. Osborne Avenue, Tampa, FL, Pastor Torrell Lee, with Elder Eric Bostick, offici- ating. Interment will be on Mon- day, July 29, 2019 at 11 a. m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
Clifford Smith was a native of Largo, Florida and a resident of Tampa for many years. He was ed- ucated in the public schools of Pinellas County and after graduat- ing from Pinellas High School, Mr. Smith married Mae McPherson and to that union three daughters were born: Debra Smith, Theresa Smith Reynolds and Stacey Smith. He en- listed into the United States Army, where he received an Honorable Discharge and Purple Heart for his services.
Clifford was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. Benjamin Smith, Sr. and Mrs. Addie More- land; siblings, David Smith, Ben- jamin Smith, Jr. and Sallie Mae McCluster; and daughter, Debra Smith.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his children, Theresa Smith Reynolds and Stacey Smith; five grandchildren, Travis, Javaris (Khadija), Gerald, Triniti and Lon- don; two brothers, Robert Lee Smith and Anthony Smith; one great grandchild, Kyan Reynolds; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
The remains will repose Friday, July26th,from5-8p.m.,atRay Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

Homegoing Services for Mr. Roland H. Sims, who transitioned to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, July 21, will be held Friday, July 26, at 11 a. m. at Pilgrims Rest Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 4202 W. Nassau St., Tampa, Reverend Bev- erly Green, officiating, with Rev- erend Cornelius Murvin, Senior Pastor, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Sims was born and raised in Tampa, FL, and retired from Cargill Phosphate (Mosaic) after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Millard and Catherine Sims; siblings, Ruby Presley, Mil- dred Edwards, Millard Sims, Jr. and Miles Sims; and son, Gregory D. Mobley.
Mr. Sims leaves loving memo- ries with: his wife of 61 years, Mamie Pearl Sims; children, Ceasar (Rhea) Allen, Roland (Jean) Hamid, Delilah “Debbie” (Lorenzo) Davis and Venessa (Ricky) Wright; daughter-in-law, Colette Mobley; siblings, Dudley (Mattie) Sims and Eula Sims- Strange; sister-in-law, Barbara Edwards; a special cousin, Joyce Hill; grandchildren, Roland (April) Sims, Hassan Henry, Jar- rod and Abria Allen, Jamal Miller, Rholonda Hamid and Aaliyah and Brianna Wright; great-grandchil- dren, Roquekeshia, Roland Jr., Rolandus, Rolando, Darrion, Roderrius, Rolandre, Hakim, Hassan Jr., and Marcus; great- great grandchildren, Brielle, Alani, Niveah, Kemani and Evan; and a host of sorrowing nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends, and his dog, Peabody.

MR. ARTHUR LEE SOLOMON, SR.
Mr. Arthur Lee Solomon, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 27th at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Larry J. Mouton Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Arthur Lee Solomon, Sr., was a native of Ashburn, Georgia, and a resident of Tampa for many years. He was educated in the Public Schools of Turner County, Georgia, and Hillsborough County. Mr. Arthur was well known in the West Tampa Community. He was a former member of New Jerusalem M. B. Church, Carver City, and later joined New Rising M. B. Church, Tampa, FL. His hob- bies were fishing, barbequing, working with the Youth baseball and Softball league for the Yellow Jackets of West Tampa, as well as a hard-working employee of Kash ‘n Karry Lucky Stores of California until 1983.
Mr. Solomon was preceded in death by: his wife of 52 Golden years, Ms. Annie V. Solomon; par- ents, Mr. Hartwell and Rubelia Solomon; father and mother-in- law, Mr. Aubrey and Evelyn Lofton and Mr. William and Martha Walker; brothers, Willie Solomon,
