WILSON
MRS. VALERIE VANESSA COOPER MONORE
A Private Service will be held for Mrs. Valerie Vanessa Cooper Monore, who on July 30th, 2020 God called her home.
Mrs. Valerie Vanessa Cooper Monroe was born December 27, 1960, in Washington, D. C. She was rasied in Boston, Gainesville, FL, and Miami, FL. She resided in Tampa, Florida where she earned her higher ed- ucation at Springfield College and received a Bachelor’s De- gree in Human Service. She was a Counselor at MHC, Wilbert Davis Youth Program, Tampa Bay Workforce, and a Manager at ACTS. She made people laugh when they are down and made people cry when they are laugh- ing!
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Collie May Cooper and Joseph Cooper; grandparents, Amanda Wilson and Iassac Wilson; grandson, Will Williams, III; sisters, Lenora Conyers and Dorothy Palms; and niece, Helen Cooper.
Mrs. Monroe leaves to cher- ish memories of her with: lov- ing husband, Charlie Monroe, III. She was a proud mother of three beautiful children, Marica Cooper (Chris), Andralis Hutchinson (Ms. B Quamyra), and Shardawn Floyd- Monroe (Steven). She was blessed with 13 grandchildren ,Quinadra W., Quanzavious C., Zanaliyiah H., Zyandre C., Zakyiah S., Quentin S., Zoquary F., Makai F., Quan- dre H., Sapharie F., Iysis F., Kynzii F., and Quayvon H.; two great grandchildren, Jordon G and Charliim; siblings includ- ing, Gregory Cooper (Vivian), Larry Harris (Regena), Rena Graddick, Jeffrey Cooper, Ronald Bethel, Norman McGee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, August 7, 2020, at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 3 – 8 p. m.

MR. BARRY LEE JONES
Mr. Barry Lee Jones, age 79, passed away on July 31, 2020, in Lakeland, Florida.
Barry was born on July 14, 1941. He worked at C. F. Industries in Plant City as a phosphate worker for over 30 years. He loved playing golf, but his passion was being the commissioner/mentor for the Plant City Colts Little League Team. He loved to travel and never met a stranger. He was loved by everyone that came in contact with him.
He was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Joseph L. Jones, John- nie L. Jones and Henry L. Jones.
Barry is survived by: daughter, Angela Smith, Lakeland; son, Barry Jones, Jr., Plant City; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchil- dren; sister, Luvenia Jones; 4 brothers, Frank Simons, Douglas Simons, Jerry Simons of Nichols, FL, and Terry Simons, Lakeland.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, 11 a. m., graveside, at Garden of Peace Cemetery, 109 Spencer St., Plant City. Visitation will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Washington Funeral Home, LLC, with all CDC guidelines being ob- served. Masks are required, temp check at the door.

MRS. JESSIE PERRY
Mrs. Jessie Perry was the fourth child born to Robert and Gladys McBride. Jessie was edu- cated in the public schools in Hillsborough County. She gradu- ated from Middleton Senior High School. She received an Associate in Arts degree from Hillsborough Community College, Bachelor of Science degree from Nova South- eastern University and Master’s degree from National Louis Uni- versity in Elementary Education. She taught school for 44 years, re- tiring as a K-2 teacher in Hillsbor- ough County School District.
She accepted Christ at an early age, where she joined and was baptized at Friendly Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastor- ship of the late Rev. W. L. Webb. She served faithfully for many years, singing in the choir, usher on the usher board, Financial Sec- retary, and Assistant Church Clerk. She was a frequent visitor at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church prior to joining New St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
Jessie was extremely close to her family, enjoyed many family gatherings, celebrations and spe- cial occasions, Sunday dinners, traveling to out of town events, Homecoming Festivities at FAMU
and Savannah State, The Florida Classic, and she had the opportu- nity to travel throughout the world.
She is survived by: husband, Kenneth Perry; Doris Reddick (mother- in-law); Clemmie Perry (sister-in-law); and Ross Perry and family (brother-in-law); de- voted sisters, Belinda Harrist (James), Mary Gatlin; devoted nieces, Joy Griffith (Jacorria Jones), Ayanna McBride (Chantrell Frazier, Ashe’ McBride, Tiyana Kelly, Timothy Kelly), Gail Gatlin and family, Sheryl Gatlin and family, Tamara Gatlin, Michelle Jenkins (deceased) and family, Andrea Jenkins and fam- ily; nephews, Frederick Jenkins (Lisa) and family, Robert McBride, Jr. and family, Carl Grif- fith (Kallis Griffith, Cyani Grif- fith), Cedric Gatlin; cousins: Hiawatha Davis and family, Wash- ington, D. MR. LLOYD JACKSON, JR. (POPPA)
Homegoing Services for Mr. Lloyd Jackson, Jr. (Poppa), age 54, of Ocala, who passed away on August 3, 2020, will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020.
Lloyd was born on December 3, 1965, in Ocala, FL. He was the son of the late Lloyd Jackson, Sr., and Margatet Jackson. From an early age, he resided in Ocala for most of his life, with a short stay in Tampa. Lloyd was a graduate of Vanguard High School, where he played basketball. He is known for his kind heart and easy-going personality.
He was prededed in death by: both parents, his sister, Carolyn Danner; and brothers, Allen and Willie Jackson.
He leaves to mourn: his two sons, Demitrius Jackson, of South Carolina, and Malik Jack- son, of Ocala; 3 sisters, Linda Davis, Michelle Brown and Velma Lewis (Lester), all of Tampa; brother, David Moore, Sr., of Tampa; aunt, Leila Beasley of Madison, FL; nephews, William “Pete” McIntyre, Milton Jenkins (Angela), Demitrius “Knott” Jenkins, Christian Taylor, Bran- don Taylor, Cameron Davis, Ash- ton Davis, David Moore, Jr., Dikimbre Moore, Darien Moore, Torrey Jackson, Kejuan Brown, Lester Lewis, Jr., and Nathan Lewis; nieces, Rhonda Smith (Derrick), Bridgett Jackson, Renee Barner (Bobby), Ashley Jackson, Danielle Moore, Kiana Brown, Dana Lewis and Dena Williams (Javaris); mothers of his sons, Cathy Hennix and Sher- rice McClellan; special cousin, Kendra Jones; special friends from Ocala, Jennifer Dugas and Mr. Al Owens; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other sorrowing family members and friends.
