Mike WiLL Made- It’s Ransom 2 album is here, Gucci Mane and all.
The LP, which was originally supposed to be a mixtape, is made up of 17 songs with guest features of a who’s who in the game right now, including Big Sean, Young Thug, Migos, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Lil Wayne, 2
Chainz, Pharrell and Ri- hanna.
The mega-producer teams up again with his “Black Beat- les” friends Rae Sremmurd and Guwop for “Perfect Pint” and this time, brings Kendrick Lamar along for the ride.
Newly-platinum certi- fied Chief Keef makes an ap-
pearance on “Come Down,” also with the Mississippi duo. Mike WiLL announced Ran- som 2 at the beginning of last year, but delayed its release due to his work on Be- yoncé’s “Formation,” as well as a result of Gucci Mane’s prison sentence, which pre- vented him from being a part of the project.
Kendrick Lamar About To Release A New Album; New Song Takes Aim
Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song last week, that some say is dissing a well-known rapper. Some fans believe it is aimed at Drake.
The last two days have in- cluded Kendrick Lamar giving hints that appear to be about his next studio album.
At first, the Compton spit- ter posted a message on In- stagram that just featured “IV.”
Then, Lamar dropped the new record “The Heart Part 4” where the Grammy-win- ning emcee mentions a date for his peers to prepare for.
“Y’all got ’till April the 7th to get y’all sh-it together,” rapped K-Dot.
It has been two years since Lamar released his last LP To Pimp a Butterfly.
He also dropped the unti- tled unmastered EP in 2016.
Instagram Trolling Drake
Many rap fans have spent the last few years debating whether Drake or
Kendrick Lamar is the best rapper of this generation.
The conversation has ig- nited again since Drake re- leased his More Life playlist and Kendrick returned last night with the new record “The Heart Part 4.”
Some listeners even think the TDE emcee was sublimi- nally dissing his “Poetic Jus- tice” collaborator on the track.
Fans have speculated about the two rap superstars send- ing subtle shots at each other in their music for some time.
After the arrival of K-Dot’s latest song, Instagram users flooded Drake’s IG page with “IV” comments.
The Roman numeral was presented as an Instagram post on Kendrick’s page this week.
