Actress Taraji P. Hen- son sat down with T.I. for a recent episode of his expedi- TIously podcast called “Shoot- ing The Sh*t.”
Tip shared a video clip of the interview on his Instagram account, which finds Henson berating 50 Cent for his con- stant negativity surrounding her hit show Empire.

50 has taken several stabs at Empire over the years. In 2014, the veteran rapper ac- cused Empire of biting Power. Then in September 2016, Henson deflected more of 50’s criticisms with an Insta- gram post about the show’s ratings, while clowning him in the process.
“For the confused ppl. Do REAL research!!!” she cap- tioned the post. “Loose change makes sooooooo much UN- NECESSARY NOISE. STILL LOOKING FOR THAT DAMN CENT SIGN!!! I guess it’s ob- solete. AGAIN CONGRATS ON YOUR SUCCESS BLACK MAN!!! @50cent.”
The Neptunes will offi- cially be inducted into the Song- writers Hall of Fame this year.
In addition to Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, Mariah Carey, Steve Miller, The Eurythmics, Motown writing legend, William “Mickey” Stevenson and The Isley Brothers will also receive the honor.

 Eminem Drops Another Surprise Album
Eminem has done it again. Roughly 17 months after shock- ing his fans with the unex- pected Kamikaze album, the Detroit rap titan is back with another surprise album — Music To Be Murdered By.
Comprised of 20 tracks, the album was inspired by famed director Alfred Hitchcock and features Royce Da 5’9, Q- Tip, Young M.A, Anderson .Paak, Denaun, Black Thought and the late Juice Wrld, among others.
The project caps off an en- tertaining year for Slim Shady — well, at least for Hip Hop fans.

Akon announced last Mon- day that he has finalized an agreement for the establish- ment of Akon City in Senegal.
In an Instagram post of a photo from the deal-finalizing moment, Akon told fans he was "looking forward to hosting you there in the future."
While his IG announcement was short on details, Akon pre- viously explained his goals for the city in an interview with Nick Cannon back in Decem- ber.
"It’s a 10-year building block so we’re doing it in stages," he said at the time. "We started construction in March and stage two is going to be 2025."

Elsewhere in the Power 106 chat, Akon criticized billion- aires who haven't put their money toward similar efforts.
Akon's plans are to build in the village of Mbodiene, with climate-conscious appproaches at the helm. The agreement with tourism company SAPCO, according to a separate Jakarta Post report, is a "memorandum of understanding."
