3. ACHIEVEMENTS (HIGHLIGHTS) OF TRSO

3.1 REDUCTION OF REVENUE EXPENDITURE:

42.5 million units of electrical energy was saved by shutting down
locos, switching off blowers, coasting & Regeneration and 1341.4

KL of HSD Oil was saved by shutting down of Diesel locos resulting
in to a saving of Rs. 45.78 Cr.
Crew lobby outsourcing activities is carried out departmentally at
RDM, BPA, BDCR, DKJ, PRPI, MUGR and MTMI which results in a
savings of 0.38 Cr.

3.2 IMPROVEMENTS IN RUNNING ROOM/CREW LOBBIES :

bavanapalem station to meet loading
requirement at newly opened
sattupali station (JVRB)
