Volunteer Recruitment & Training

purpose, etc.
o Identify evidence based training programs to appropriately train tutors/volunteers to be
effectively prepared for various opportunities
 Create a path for easy access for tutors/volunteers to acquire desired/needed
training.
 Expand training program to “train the trainer” to allow for more tutors, mentors
and other volunteers to be developed around the county
o Leverage people centers: churches, seniors, civic orgs, and service clubs
 Develop consistent message to provide to ambassadors that speak directly to audiences
