Dr. Mark Bannatyne is our new Academic Dean of Technology and has also relocated to Michigan from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he was an Associate Professor, for the Dept. of Computer Information and Graphics Technology for Purdue School of Engineering and Technology. He also served as a Chair, for the Dept. of Industrial Design, at University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow (Ra-Zess-Zo), Poland, as well as Professor Doctor of Habilitation, and Faculty of Technology, for the University of Communication and Management, in Poznan, Poland. He has over 35 years’ experience working in higher education and he has many signifcant academic and professional achievements. He has a Masters in Industrial Technology from Utah State University and his PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University. We are excited you have joined us, Mark!
Sarah Nick is our new Support Specialist for Industrial Technology. She started as a student in Mott’s Welding and Machining programs. She is also a co-owner of Custom Fabrication; a business in which her and her husband work to customize and restore classic vehicles, specializing in 50’s-80’s Chevy and Ford trucks.

Waqas Zarar (Wa-Kaas) is our new Senior Network Engineer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, with a focus in Computer Networks from the University of the Punjab in Pakistan and numerous IT Network certifcations. He has over 12 years of experience working in Network Engineering roles. We are very pleased he has decided to join the Mott family!

ACCOUNTING
Angella Richardson has been hired as an Accountant. Angella recently worked at Bishop International Airport Authority as a Finance Assistant. She also has experience as an Accountant for the Genesee Intermediate School District, and a Staf Accountant and Auditor for Dupuis & Ryden P.C. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Michigan – Flint, where she had graduated with high distinction, and she is now the newest member of our Accounting team! Welcome, Angella!
