Kimberly Maine became a Mott employee this past April, when she accepted the position of Systems Analyst for Facilities Services. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with a concentration in Project Management from Baker College. Her previous experience includes 5 years as a Quality Systems Administrator for Asahi Kasei (Ah-Sa-Hee Ka-Say) Plastics, and over 2 years as a Quality Inspector for Dunnage Engineering. She is a very welcome addition to Mott and the overall Facilities Services team.
Derek Piotrowski is another former Mott student, temporary and now in the position of Events Setup Assistant. Derek graduated from Mott with an Associate in Arts degree with highest honors and U of M-Flint with a Bachelor of Business degree. Derek has been active in campus and community volunteer activities, including with the Flint Odyssey House, the Mott/Haiti Beneft Concert, and organizing a Cell Phones for Soldiers drive. Derek started as a work-study student in the Mailroom. Since the time he started at Mott, he has been credited with implementing many system improvements and a great team member who will do whatever it takes to get the job done!
Andrew Rodak started of the 2020 year right: with a new position as a Groundskeeper here at Mott! Andrew has an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Delta College, which he used during his 9 years as a State of Michigan DNR Park Ofcer/Ranger. It was there that Andrew was able to develop a passion for landscaping: a skill that, now, our entire College community gets to beneft from, as he works to beautify the Mott campus. And we look forward to returning to campus to see his hard work.
Rod Whitney is our new Supervisor of Facilities Services. With
a Bachelor’s in Business Administration & Master’s in Adult and Post-Secondary Education from University of Wyoming, Rod had previously worked as a Supervisory/Project Director for Coulter Building, and as a Custodial Manager/Safety Inspector/Facilities Operator for the University of Wyoming, and just prior to coming to Mott, a Team Teacher for Lapeer Intermediate School District.
