mediums such as online surveys, social media, and relevant
articles or videos on topical issues from a faith perspective.
Where that will lead, we're not sure at this stage. But
what we are finding, is that ministry is busier than ever!
Students are even more available, more open and have a
greater spiritual hunger because of the current crisis. In the
first week of lockdown alone, we saw 5 people come to
Christ! He is definitely still at work. That leaves me thinking,
how might God be going to use COVID19 and this current
lockdown for his glory? When our jobs, security, health and
social lives are stripped away, we're confronted by the reality
of what little we have left.
My prayer in this season is that, as believers, we would
use this time to turn to God and realise the riches we have in
him. For the nonbelievers, my hope is that this turmoil would
evoke questions and yearning for a purpose and meaning
beyond the here and now...and that that might all be realised
and satisfied in a relationship with the living God.
God bless,
