Chateau Elan Winery
What A Difference A Staycation Makes By Mary Blunt
In the foothills of North Georgia, with a hint of Elegance, Chateau Elan
showcases its beauty from the time you drive into their gates. From these
Abundant vines, vineyards that had started in 1981 have grown 3,500 acres
of the expansive panorama of the North Georgia foothills. This property is
very lavish in its own right.
Nicely appointed decor in the rooms recalls all the comforts of home away
from home. Trust me when I say that the food was Superb! even in their pub.
Paddy's Irish Pub is where I enjoyed my meal, and I wanted something
different than my norm. I ordered the Pub Reuben, Corned Beef, Marble Rye,
Watercress Mayo, Sauerkraut, Flat Creek Irish Cheddar. And for my drink, I
decided on the Braselton Riley’s Red Ale. Extraordinary pairings between the
two.
There are many, as they say ("Fueled by Flavor"), Restaurants here at the
resort. I will be making a return visit, especially to the Louis' House of
Bourbon, Southern Gastro Pub.
Chateau Elan is where you will find many locals going to relax and indulge on
a Friday evening or a weekend staycation. From Wine Tasting and
Wine Tours, enjoy one of the many Golfing Experiences. View the Beauty of
the Luxurious Manicured grounds while Shopping and Indulge in the
Luxurious Spa, something for everyone! You will feel like you just returned
from out of state or even another country, and you never left your backyard. It
is only a 45-minute drive from downtown Atlanta, Georgia, to Chateau Elan
Winery, in Braselton, GA.
I enjoyed one of Chateau Elan's crafted wines; they have more than 30.
