of BPOM, the
leadership of BPOM is
currently held by Lucia
Rizka Andalusia as acting head of BPOM. Rizka now also serves as Director General of Pharmaceuticals
and Medical Devices at the Ministry of Health.

"The support from experts also plays a crucial role in ensuring that the decision made by BPOM is
accurate and science-based. Other interventions will not have an impact, especially if they are only driven
by political pressure and short-term interests. The interests of the wider community, especially regarding
safety, must be a priority," he said.
