I woke up early this morning as I was excited about the tour. It was the first time for
me to go on a tour on my own. However, I was so nervous to leave home without my
parents as I heard there had been terrible attacks 5 recently in London. I will stay with
my host family in the coming two weeks. I pray I will stay safe there.

During the flight, I made friends with Paul and Ken who are on the same tour as I am.
We talked about our expectations for the trip and watched movies before landing in
London. It was already 4:00p.m. there. The dormitory was two hours drive from the
airport. When we got our luggage and settled onto the coach, we were so exhausted that

we fell asleep.

When we arrived at the dormitory our team leader took us to our rooms and then we had
dinner in the canteen. I can't believe it. I'm finally here!

Tuesday. 25 July 2017
Today, we visited the Roman baths in the town of Bath. After that. I met my host

family. Jean and Pearly are really friendly. They picked me up at the museum and drove
me to their home. They gave me a very warm welcome.

Jean and Pearly took me to a local restaurant for lunch. Then, we walked around the
town. They told me a lot about the UK.

Tonight, Jean cooked dinner for us. They talked about the places they planned to take
me. Since I only have English classes on weekday mornings and a sharing session on
Thursday afternoon. I'll have plenty of free time for sightseeing. Tomorrow, we are

going to Big Ben. I look forward to hearing the bell!
