P. 2
Greetings KMS staff, teachers, and administrative team!
I am Andrea Paull, President of the 2020-21 Kenmore Middle School PTSA. I have an 8th grader at KMS
and I am excited to serve the school community in this role.
We know these are challenging times, from Covid-19 to systemic racism plaguing our country to
navigating a remote learning platform and methods. As a PTSA, we are highly motivated to partner with
the school to create the best possible experience for our students and their families.
We are also very much committed to supporting you all as we enter a whole new world of learning and
delivering curriculum / programming. As a PTSA, we are still fundraising so that we can provide
financial support to KMS for things such as, classroom allotments of up to $100 to all certificated staff,
program funding through the Student Enrichment Grant (e.g. WEB leaders, Special Education supplies,
etc.) and equipment to enrich your virtual classrooms.
As an educator for a local school district, I know how challenging it is to navigate these times and still
provide a rich experience for all of our students. You may be parents of students yourselves. There aren’t
enough thank yous for all that you do, but we will endeavor to show our immense gratitude. Like in
previous years, we are offering PTSA memberships to all staff. This year, due to our wonderful members
and their donations, we are able to gift the entire KMS staff with a PTSA membership. Please just fill out
the membership form and include a zero for the total. Then email a copy to our membership chair Abby at
membership@kenmoreptsa.org and we will take care of the rest. We will also come up with creative ways
throughout the year to show our appreciation in lieu of staff appreciation lunches.
Please feel free to contact me at president@kenmoreptsa.org should you ever need my assistance. The
Kenmore Middle School PTSA knows that we are stronger together.
In partnership,
Andrea Paull
