Parañaque’s

Summer Reading Camp for LHNHS

As part of its commitment to run

CSR activities year-round, SPi Global’s

Parañaque site held a summer reading

camp for students of La Huerta National

High School (LHNHS) on April 22 to 26,

2019. Twenty-three volunteers from

various SPi Global accounts and four

teachers conducted fun reading and learning activities for 23 LHNHS

students daily. This project provided interested students with an

option on how to spend part of their summer vacation productively.

Spearheaded by CSR champion

Eduardo Bautista, the site partnered

with non-government organization

Corazon Sanchez Atayde Memorial

Foundation, which served as the event

facilitator and provided pre-camp

orientation for students. Both students

and volunteers enjoyed learning

about each other through icebreakers,

confidence-building games and

personal story-sharing sessions

throughout the five-day activity.
