The following reforms have not passed yet and will be
discussed until after June 2:
▪ Workday reduction: From 48 workday hours per week to 40
hours.
it is still under discussion on the plenary session and still not
known if it will gradually affect year after year or if it will be
fixed to the 40-hour work week.
▪ Fair Christmas Bonus from 15 days to 30 days. It hasn’t
moved forward in the legislative process.
▪ Work bonus increase. This Benefit guarantees that after 15
years seniority the worker has the right to 12 days off. The
reform would be from 12 to 15 days wages and would
decrease from 15 years to 13 years after the labor relationship
ends.
▪ Disconnect from Work Law. Add to Art.68 bis to be optional
for employees to answer calls, emails, text messages after
their workday schedule.
▪ New Workday Days Off: It was proposed to add mandatory
