Objectives and Goals
- To take account of compliance with environmental management laws and contracts, and ISO 14001 : 2015 standard
- To operate with minimal environmental impact, and establish an efficient management system for resource consumption, climate change, pollution and waste.
Operational Guidelines
- THP has established an eco-efficiency management system across the organization and has applied the ISO 14045 standards for assessment since 2021 to present.
- Appoint a working group for environmental management and eco-efficiency system management, as well as a team for eco-efficiency management system preparation to implement the environmental management operation policy.
- Determine 8 plans for Eco-friendly projects in 2023 as follows :
1. Plan to use electric vehicles in the work system
2. Plan to develop environmental management system in THP’s business operations (Green Office)
3. Solar PV Rooftop Installation Plan
4. Green Hub Plan
5. Study of alternative energy trucks to be used for postal transport, in mail routing system
6. Improving mail transport system and routes (Route Optimization)
7. THP Green Procurement Plan
8. Encouraging stakeholders (external contracted carriers) to switch to using electric vehicles for mail
transport.
- Carry out environmental management work by continuously reviewing, improving and developing the
environmental management system.
