At this point, we may doubt, is it the first time Jesus
visiting this man? No doubt, Jesus has already visited this house,
confirmed the place, time and menu with the person hosting
this dinner. Based on the scene depicted in the text, it is much
apparent that Jesus showing his deep commitment for the ‘other’

        Conclusion

We live in a world where people long for trust,
communion, and face to face communication. There are
expressions of unacceptance, nationalism; communalism and
even national populism through which people are divided and
the gap is growing farther are farther. The invisible communities
around the cross, particularly the queer communities in India
should be identical and their right dignity to celebrate their life,
freedom and religion in the public space should be fair.

        Prayer

Gracious God, open our eyes to see everyone who is
different from us as uniquely created by you and affirm their
uniqueness and dignity. Help us and your church to become
borderless by welcoming everyone to your table and embracing
the many-ness in your creation. In Jesus’ name, Amen
