Conclusion

This lent we reflect on this reality and we ask God to
open our ears to the cry of the victims of Power, My God, My
God why have you forsaken me?. May such cry change our heart
and open our heart to God.

Prayer

Gracious God, we thank you for your calling to bear our
cross and follow you. Teach us to be lovers of peace and justice
than the power that corrupts and dehumanizes. We pray for the
victims of such power that you heal them and empower them;
we pray for those in authority that you grant them the serenity
to know your will and fulfill your purposes. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
