Safety and health at the workplace
The Company realizes the importance on occupational safety and environment, so the safety officers at professional level have been employed to oversee the works on occupational safety, health, and environment within the Company and the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE) Committee has also been appointed to manage safety pursuant to the Company’s occupational safety, health, and environment policy including to monitor on compliance, arrangement of safety officers, personnel, department, or group of persons to conduct safety operations in the workplace, B.E. 2565 (2022). It is specified that the OSHE Committee shall arrange a meeting once a month to suggest, recommend guidelines, and search for danger from works in various processes to improve safety and make them free from a cause which may lead to unsafe work.
In 2024, the works related to occupational safety, health and environment performed by the Company were as follows:
1. PrepareasafetydocumenttoreporttotheOfficeofLaborProtectionandWelfare,Bangkok Metropolis Area 4.
2. Appoint and register safety officers at all levels as required by law.
3. Appoint the Occupational Safety Committee to drive and operate safety works within the workplace and hold a meeting once a month to improve and suggest solution to solve problem encountered in the work area in all work processes as well as to improve the working environmental conditions.
4. Basicfire-fightingandfiredrilltraininghasbeenarrangedonceayear.Theofficersfromthe Bureau of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation have been invited to provide knowledge to the employees at the head office and 6 branches offices, such as, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Rangsit Klong 8, Ubon Ratchathani Branch, and Surat Thani.
